Chapter I

"I want to be friend with U!"

It should have been nearly six years since Shen Wei had joined the Black Shield Unit under Zhao YunLan's management.

He became a criminal police, criminal psychologist and a private psychological counselor. Although he's not a sharp shooter like everyone else; especially like Zhao YunLan, Shen Wei is proficient in close range combat fighting. He know many techniques for other weapons as well, but fighting up close is his preference, since he was able to move nimbly like a blade of grass; lightweight and freely.

Ever since joining, Shen Wei could only say that it was one of the right decisions he had made all his life, although his parents disagree; that his work could possibly put his life in danger at any given time.

But this is one of the main reason why Shen Wei felt that he was on a right track. He thought all along that he was weak, had a weak body and was uncomfortable with the cold water. However, he grew into a man who didn't fear sharp blades or gun shots.

More of that, he discover many skills and abilities he never thought he has inside of him, it was like; pulling him out of his tight close shell.

All of this sacrificed effort to be a criminal police is because of a certain person which name were permanently engraved in his mind.

Yes... Zhao Yun Lan.

Shen Wei manage to know many things he was curious about the vice-deputy, like knowing that he was older than Zhao YunLan and that they were batch mate but in a different school.

He learned all of those from Zhao YunLan's close friends and since Shen Wei keep bugging those friends of the vice deputy, they run out of things and facts to share to Shen Wei about their police friend.

Even though they are close friends of Zhao YunLan, there is still a lot of things Zhao YunLan never told them, never want to, never would do. This was a man armored in a hard shell, his inner heart cannot easily be opened.

Fundamentally, it was just curiosity before, but eventually Shen Wei become interested on Zhao YunLan. Shen Wei didn't fancy men before, but he just couldn't shake the idea that he was somehow lying to himself all along after finding himself being interested in him.

Shen Wei never had a girlfriend before and only ever had sexual feelings for them that made him wonder if this might have contributed to his belief that he was gay. Ever since spending time with men at the gun shooting training in the university, Shen Wei finds those men handsome and attractive yet haven't had a strong feelings for them. But for the first time, he find himself fantasising about this certain handsome young police officer.

Who wouldn't?

Every single part of Zhao YunLan's body taken separately gave out the impression of rough, boorish in nature, yet combined together the whole entity shouted a healthy handsome young man. Under the dark skintight outfit he usually wore, it looked like YunLan's build had some kind of terrifying beauty. His height was comparable to Shen Wei, and he looked extremely sturdy, with the back of a tiger and waist of a bear, and broad shoulders, with thick and solid neck, as well as extra-large palms visible under his clothes.

Zhao YunLan's type is the apple in the eyes of numerous girls and even boys in the city. For a man like him, he had quite a lot of promising young woman pursuing him.

Despite all of this, Shen Wei know that he doesn't have to try the physical act with both sexes to know certainly for himself. His sexual predilection may seem overpowering until it passes and something else takes his fancy. It's not like heterosexuals are actually bisexual, but he certainly think most of people are capable of an equally profound sexual experience in a same-sex liaison. What a person choose should surely be the person who feels right, not just a person boasting about the correct genitalia.
