Zhao YunLan: "Getting married and having children, I had been prepared to do all that. She's a good young woman. My parents rather like her."
Shen Wei: "...and you?"
Zhao YunLan: "What do you think my feelings are?"

Shen Wei was now arranging his stuff. He does not have that much stuff in his office table like any other agents who has picture frames and book novels to read inside their table drawer. All the stuff he needs and he used is all inside his black backpack which he also bring back home.
With the news speedily spreading around the headquarters, everyone's eyes were focused on Shen Wei. But this is the first time no one dares to come close to Shen Wei. It seems like Shen Wei was radiating with madness that if someone come close to him he will vent his anger to that person.
No matter how the wind blew or how the clouds moved, the tensed atmosphere in this office couldn't be dismissed.
Thankfully, it was too early that there's still few agents inside who witnessed and heard about his departure from Zhao YunLan's Unit. It's not that Shen Wei is not a member of the Black Shield Unit anymore, but he will move to the other building of the Black Shield Unit headquarters, the one located at the back. The Black Shield agents who assigned at the back headquarters are those agents who work on less dangerous operations but also the back up agents needed if possible that Black Shield Unit in front and part of the B&C platoons failed to handle it with their own force. The 2nd platoons are being manage by Chu Shu Zhi.
After a while, Zhu Hong approached the door quietly, a little nervously, and was extremely worried.
"Shen Wei..." Shen Wei heard Zhu Hong's calls as she approached through the nosy crowd.
He pondered for a bit before letting out a faint smile. He should have expected this sooner.
Looking coldly at the faintly smiling Shen Wei standing not too far from her, Zhu Hong's brows were slightly knitted as she looked at the man before her. The latter's hazel-nut eyes were a little scary with strong will and madness that made Zhu Hong feel a little shocked.
"Your first impression to me doesn't seem too bad, so I will do everything to convinced Chief Zhao to bring you back here. At least, you have to use your actions to speak the next time. Thus, if you feel that you can no longer catch up to his immaturity, then give up. It will be a good thing for both you and him."
But even so, Shen Wei only dismissed Zhu Hong's words with a laugh as he shook his head. A faint smile appeared on his stern and young face as he spoke, "Then, I'll have to ask big Hong-jie to take good care of him. I still believe that there will be a day when he will change his judgement of me. I will endure it no matter how hard it will be."
Shen Wei's gaze dropped down as he continued with a soft voice, "However, I do not wish for you to interrupt his decision. He is the first man that I have fallen for and will be the last. Even if we doesn't have any achievements in the future, at the very least…"
Zhu Hong smiled as she strode forth and lightly patted the man's shoulder. "I am not against your infatuation on him. But sometimes, a man like him doesn't need to be protected. Furthermore, I could tell that although that chief looks gentle and cold on the surface, he's quite prideful in his bones."
Shen Wei slightly crack a smile and Zhu Hong noticed it instantly.
"You're okay now?" Zhu Hong enquired.
"What kind of questions is that? I'm not that weak. No one can obstruct me." Shen Wei smiled as he raised his head, looking at the location in which the boss office is as a smile rose up on his handsome face once again.
Looking at the usual confident smile on Shen Wei's face, Zhu Hong and Da Qing at the furthest corner of the office felt relieved and were somewhat gratified.
"Let's hope that's the case, I am expecting for us to still meet every lunch break." Zhu Hong said happily.
Shen Wei faintly smiled and did not speak anymore. He waved his hand towards Zhu Hong and Da Qing at the back as he walked out of his office in the headquarters of the Black Shield Unit.
This youth was more stubborn than Zhu Hong had imagined. It looked like it wouldn't be possible for her to convince that youth to give up on Zhao YunLan. But that didn't matter. Time would tell. Time would gradually let him know the gap between him and Zhao YunLan. At that time, she wouldn't be able to maintain the stubbornness he displayed today.
Zhu Hong looked at Shen Wei's back and couldn't stop clenching her fist as she took a breath in. In this short conversation, she felt the vast pressure coming from Shen Wei. The latter did not use any harsh words to ridicule the boss, but she could feel the distance emitted from the latter.
Clearly, she didn't believe that Shen Wei could reach the height that she would have to view him with importance.
However, Zhu Hong did not hold any resentment or indignation. After all, with Shen Wei's personality and attitude, she had seen too many people like him, and no matter how firm Shen Wei's speech was, it was impossible for her to shake his thoughts.
Zhu Hong and Da Qing, stood beside each other, which had their eyes flickered at this instant as they exchanged a look. Their gazes were a little complicated as they looked at the silhouette of the youth that was far away.
The morning has been consumed by Shen Wei walking at the back second building. The Black Shield second headquarters had it's cafeteria in the first floor, contrary to the front headquarters which had the cafeteria at the third floor. At the side of the wide glass wall is the double glass door which automatically open itself if someone is going to enter inside. Located beside the entrance is a front desk employee. She's a beautiful girl, around 30's that help Shen Wei to the location of his new office.
After taking a lift to the 4th floor, turning to the right then straight, he arrived at his own office. As he walked around this building some of the employees who was passing by greeted him some just walk passed by him like they never sees him. Shen Wei didn't mind though.
Soon, he finally reached his own office and enter quietly. He raised his head to look at the large screen before him. His office room was extremely large, it was beyond his expectations.
He tried to get comfortable with the new office, new surrounding and new people to work and get along with. It wouldn't be too hard for someone as friendly as Shen Wei.

But somehow, no matter how hard he try to convinced himself everything was fine and would be okay someday, loneliness still creeping up on his face. Because somehow, we defined the feeling of loneliness as an unacceptable one to have in the emotions department.
How long he will keep on holding on to that thin chances that someday his relationship with Zhao would be considered just at least 'friends.'
