Prologue (Part IV)

"Visiting U!"

Early morning in the Black Shield Unit headquarters.

The branch was greatly dumbfounded by the kidnapping case they got just yesterday's evening. The headquarter now was full of people debating and putting up conspiracy theories and hypotheses after receiving the result of an autopsy. The results left them all dumbfounded and disbelieving. A few detectives were even forced to not go home as they worked on it and dealt with the analysis, investigation, interrogation of witnesses and listing out of possible suspects involved last night.

It was about a plus murder T's case. T was one of the most notorious and largest criminal associations in China, being officially recognized by the UN and the Police Association as the number 1 wanted group. Although there were groups that were more vicious and wicked than them, the latter was just too widely known throughout the world. But that didn't mean that someone purposely spread their name. Their notoriety was the result of their evil doings. They caused countless incidents and murders in every places.

T had committed all types of crimes while risking blame and criticism. It became louder and fiercer, with a momentum that wouldn't die down. Especially, on a society where much more gruesome murders happen left and right, the case should have been another hateful but typical one. The officers would normally take the details, carefully comb out all possible clues leading to the identity of the malefic murderer, and then pacify the mourning family members with their swift enactment of justice.

Unfortunately this time, a few links to T's case in the steps were missing. Something was very unscientific with the findings of the autopsy and even a higher up was greatly alarmed to give the vice-deputy of the Black Shield Unit a report early that day.

Apparently, Zhao YunLan was stood beside the wide view, large French window in his office room with a cup of coffee in his hands; watching the blue sky, white clouds, and the bustling street outside of the windows.

The morning view feels refreshing. A nice and early cue for the people to start their day anew and greet the world with a happy smile yet, Zhao YunLan's brows were knitted...

The reason for that is because he kept recalling last night's experience of going undercover on one of T's involvement on another case. Now he was thinking, trying to wrap his mind around the whole matter, from head to tail.

Kept getting a hint of something was wrong.

Zhao YunLan's mind was filled more about the, 'strong leader', and not these murder case facts. He had even missed breakfast as he stood by the window thinking about that all day.

'Why are there so many expert murderer on this stupid land? This isn't the America!'

There were so many murderer experts in China like in the America. That was why Zhao YunLan came to a conclusion.

Do not mess with just anybody...

An average looking person could be a person expert in killing, and the leader of T's gang could be someone who viciously killed people with an unexplainable way.

That's why these cases is still on going..

"Sigh."

A deep sigh came out of Zhao YunLan's mouth. Unfortunately, the last survivor of the four gun man mercilessly killed himself before the Criminal Psychologist could interviewed him about the case.
