It's finally been a year since I moved into my apartment and I decided to do some redecorating. In my bed room I had three, full length mirrors hanging in a row on the wall opposite my bed. I always used them to check out my outfits or do my makeup but I felt it was time for a change and put something else in their place.
I brought home a huge painting that I had found at one of the local arts and crafts stores. I removed the mirrors and hung the painting on the wall instead. I stored the mirrors in my closet until I figured out someplace else to put them.
A few days go by and I've slowly redecorated my apartment with new items. Last night I had gotten up to use the bathroom. On my way back to bed, I caught a glimpse of something white laying on the floor in front of my closet doors. I flipped on the lights and saw that it was a small piece of paper, so I picked it up. On the paper were eight simple words.
Put the mirrors back. We miss watching you.
The next morning, I left the mirrors on the curb to be picked up by the garbage men.
