"Hush little baby don't say a word,"
I listened through the baby monitor to my wife singing a soft to our baby.
"Momma's gonna buy you a mocking bird,"
I closed my eyes and relaxed. I love listening to my wife sing, she has the voice of an angel.
"If that mocking bird don't sing,"
Suddenly I heard the sound of a car door slam shut. I sat up and peeked out the window, surprised to see my wife walking up the driveway.
"Momma's gonna buy you a diamond ring."
I glanced over at the baby monitor. If my wife just got home, then who is in the baby's room?
