~ Deku's PoV ~

Sigh. Kacchan has bullied me since the whole world found out that i was quirkless and that was when i was 4 years old. I never knew why he did that. Irregardless that he beat me up i followed him because he was like All might to me but closer. I always took notes on his quirk. He was my best friend when we were 4 but after he got his quirk he changed.

Right now, i am walking to school dripping wet. The reason, i met kacchan and his lackeys on my way to school. They thought it would be fun make me more late to school than i already am.

I reach my classroom and open the door. The teacher looks at me with disgust and says "Midoriya, why are you like that? Did you wet the hallways too with that appearance? And on top of that you are 15 minutes late to class! You know what are gonna get, detention after school. Now go get yourself cleaned up, you quirkless wannabe." I look over to Kacchan he has this proud smirk on. I look around the class, they all have the same amused or mocking look. This is nothing new. This happens almost everyday now. I was surprised at the starting of the year when teachers also started to bully me but after a few days it got into a pattern and started to seem normal for as usual.

After cleaning up, I had missed most of the morning class. The teacher was pissed but soon changed into sinister laughter after somebody pulled the chair from under me. Sigh. I just want the world to stop mocking me even if it is for a minute. The day is going exactly in the pattern that was set in the start.

~ TIME SKIP TO THE END OF SCHOOL DAY BROUGHT TO YOU BY SWEET CINNAMON DEKU ~

[Note: I personally don't have anything against the cinnamon roll. So, please forgive for what is going to happen next ;-(  ]

The school is finished for the day but not for me. I have to go to detention until the teacher came up to me said something that I didn't expect. "Midoriya, you can go home for today. You are lucky that i have some important work to do in the city or you would be stuck with me here for an hour. I have to go now. Now don't be late tomorrow or detention will be two times worse." I mutter a small "yeah" and go to pack my bag. This is literally the nicest thing that has happened all day. I look at my 'HERO ANALYSIS' book. I always wanted All might to sign in it but he never is around this area. I will get it when i will also be a hero. Just as i was keeping it inside my bag it was snatched from me.. "HEY!! Give it ba-c-ck ." Oh no Kacchan. Why is he here? i just want to go and see hero fights. Why doesn't he leave me alone? 

"Huh! What is this? Hero analysis for the future. Oi, Shitty nerd. You won't be needing this in the future because only i am going to UA and not you. So, don't even think about trying for the entrance exam. Hmm."  He had his hand on my shoulder. I look at him in fear. That is exactly the area i cut myself today. He hands starts to smoke, completely ignoring my pleas. He explodes my shoulder. I cry out in pain. He takes my book and explodes. I look it is completely burned at the edges and looks like i scraped it out of the incinerator. Just before regain my composure he throws it out the window which was conveniently left open. I rushed to the window only to see that it was in the koi pond.

I start to tremble in anger. I look behind to see Kacchan and explodes his hand saying, "What?" I remember that i can't beat him in a fight, at least not without a quirk. "You know deku, that you are really useless. So, why don't you take a swan dive off a building and hope to be born with a quirk next time." He left laughing, while his lackeys started to mock me that i can't even talk back to him and left. Maybe kacchan is right, i might get a quirk in the next life. I shake my head. No Izuku no. That is not what you want. I walk to the koi pond to take my book."That's not fish food." I say to the fishes. I feel tears pricking at the corners of my eyes. I rub my eyes with my arm. Kacchan was not in the right mind, he wouldn't instigate a suicide.

I enter the tunnel under the bridge while imitating my All might laugh. I hear something behind me. Some gooey green thing comes out from the manhole."VILLAIN?!" Before i can even react, it starts to push the gooey stuff down my throat. "An invisible cloak. This will be nice. Don't bother clawing, my body is liquid. You won't be able to grab anything......Calm down will you? It will be over in 45 seconds."I couldn't really concentrate on what the villain was saying. This is so suffocating. Am i going die now? I didn't even get to see my mom for the last time. Black dots start to cover my vision. That's bad right? Someone please help me. Save me.

"DON'T FEAR FOR I AM HERE!! VILLAIN BEGONE! TTTEEEXXXAAASSS SSSMMMAAASSSHHH!"(Texas smash) Is that "All migh-"............. I wake with something poking my cheek. What a finger? Wait blonde bunny hairstyle, WAIT IT'S "ALL MIGHT!!!" What why is he here? Oh yeah the villain. Sign. Wait I NEED HIS SIGN!! I somehow scramble to my book to find that it is already signed. "THANK YOU ALL MIGHT!!!!" I bow a thousand times.(Not literally, duh)"Well, i see you are moving just fine. So, i should get this to the police." He showed me two bottle with the villain inside. "Now later. Sorry i got you mixed up in my fight but thanks to you i got him." He is preparing to take off. Wait i have to ask him so many things. Just as he lifted off i clung to his leg like my life depended on it and at that moment it did. "Wait. WHAT ARE DOING? LET GO!" Is he serious? Doesn't he realize that "IF I LET GO, I WILL DIE" He didn't say anything after that.

We got off on a high building. "I am sure that the building owners will let you go, once you explain the situation. Now please excuse me, I have to catch other villains." Wait, i have to ask you something. My whole depends on it. Ask him Izuku. The most important question of your life.

"ALL MIGHT! Can a person without a quirk be a hero like you?" I squeeze my eyes close waiting for his answer.

"No. But it doesn't mean you can't help people. You can still be hero by staying in the police...." I honestly stopped listening after that.

My favourite hero, the symbol of peace and the No. 1 hero just told me that i cannot be a hero. That I just wasted my whole life for nothing. I felt something snap in me. I think it was the last strand of hope i had left.

"....well, there is really nothing you can do in this world without a quirk. So, my suggestion to you is give up on this hero dream and find something more realistic." He getting ready to take off again.

"So there really nothing i can do be a hero like you? Even i want to save people like you! Even i want to save people with a fearless smile like yours! So, please there must be some way for me to be like!" I look up with tears falling from my eyes, only to see a skinny skeleton like person. "A-A-A-A FAKE?!" No where did All might go he was right here? Was i pranked? It has to be that.

"A fearless smile you say." He sighs and slumps against the railing. "Don't worry. I am All migh-" I scream. He's coughing out blood. He wipes his mouth and continues " My state is like this because five years ago I was severely injured in a fight. My respiratory system was destroyed and my stomach was removed. Hence i can stay in the muscular form of All might for only 3 hours. Now, kid i really must be going. But, if you really want to help the people i suggest you join the police force. They may be mocked but they are the really heroes." And like that he just left.

He left me alone in the slumber of negative thoughts. I hear an explosion. Villain attack? What kind of heroes will come? I should reach there as soon as possible, right? It doesn't matter anymore does it. The one thing i want to be in life is a hero but i can't even be that now. What is the meaning of my life now? What should i do now?

"I am so sorry Izuku. I am so sorry."

Mom. That is not what i wanted to hear.

"Useless"

"Quirkless"

"Wannabe"

"Deku"

Kacchan maybe you are right.....

"You should take a swan dive off a building and hope to be born with a quirk in the next life"
