41. Two sides of a coin

~ 3rd PoV ~

"Izuku..." Bakugo stared wide-eyed at the hooded figure.

'He's here. He's really here. I am not hallucinating, am I?' Bakugo couldn't believe his eyes. Izuku laughs at Bakugo after hearing his thoughts.

"No. K-ka-chan. Pfft, Hahaha. I am really "not" here. Hehe... I wanted to see you too you know." He smirks. This fucker. Bakugo punches him across the face and jumps on him. Izuku falls to the ground underneath him. Bakugo starts punching him as tears fell down his face.

"You asshole. Just how much more do you want?! Is fucking with me physically and mentally not enough?! Why did she have to come in this?! HUH?!?! (Y/n) did nothing to you! She was the perfect girl everyone wanted to be. She was happy. Why did you destroy her?! Why did you want me to suffer more?! Why do want to take everyone away from?! W-why?" Bakugo finally stopped bruising Izuku's face and hid his face in Izuku's chest as he sobbed while clutching his hoodie. 

Izuku smiles softly and pats Bakugo's hair. 

"Didn't think you would turn out to be a crybaby, K-ka-chan." He chuckles softly as Bakugo slaps his hand away and gets up. 

"Who the fuck did you turn into? What happened to the Izuku who wanted to be a hero?" Izuku stays silent as Bakugo watches him carefully. When doesn't say anything, he clicks his tongue and walks ahead after aggressively rubbing his tears away. Izuku stands and follows Bakugo out of the cemetery towards the park. Izuku didn't answer him till they reached the park. He looked up to the sky, taking in the sun.

"He died when I jumped off that building." 

"Bullshit." Izuku chuckles as he turns around and walks towards the swings. He touches the metal chains of the swings nostalgically. So many adventures were played by them and in every single one of them, Bakugo was the hero. He was always made to be the villain so the neighborhood kids could beat him up. 

"K-ka-chan. I'm saying the truth. Right now if anyone saw me, they would recognize me as the villain Deku. Midoriya Izuku doesn't exist anymore. Just villain Deku." Bakugo scoffs and sits on the other swing beside Izuku. 

"To me. You just the useless Deku who loves heroes and his mom. That asshole who never gives up on anything. Who doesn't let the world affect him. Who is stubborn idiot who wanted to become a hero no matter what. Where is he? Where's my Deku, villain?" Izuku smiles at him as tears start to cascade down his face too.

"I'm sorry K-ka-chan. I-i don't know. *sniff* I can't become him anymore because I failed him. I-i even control my own body sometimes. S-sometimes things just happen. I am not Midoriya Izuku anymore so please stop calling me that!! Don't taint that name b-by calling m-me that. I d-don't deserve it." Izuku sobs ugly. Bakugo gets up and hugs him.

He knew his friend was in there somewhere. He just had to get him out. Izuku tightens the hug as he sobs more louder. Some passersby try to come forward to help but Bakugo would just glare them away. He didn't want to deal with extras anymore.

"Why.... why don't you come back?" Izuku breath hitches as he tries to get some space in them. Bakugo got the hint and lets go. Izuku didn't want to run away but he didn't want to have this conversation either. More importantly, he didn't want to lose control and let it happen again.

"I c-can't."

"WHY NOT?!" Bakugo shouts, Izuku flinches in response as he tries to be composed.

"Because I have done some things unforgivable." Bakugo scoffs.

"What just a few murders and robberies. You really became a coward after becoming a villain huh?"

"K-KA-CHAN!! HOMICIDE IS SERIOUS!!"
