42. Finals exams be like

"You can't be serious right now!!! HOW EXACTLY ARE YOU BETTER THAN US WHEN YOU MISSED 3/4th OF OUR CLASSES?!!" Mina and Kaminari crowd (Y/n)'s space as she sweat-dropped. 

"G-guys guys. Calm down. I had finished this semester's syllabus with my tutor at the start of the year. I was going to start next one's after the sports festival but it got shifted up. Hehe." (Y/n) scratched her hands subconsciously. 

"Bros. Stop. Give her some space and let's just concentrate on studying before the week is up." Kirishima pulled them behind.

"Easy for you to say. You are getting tutored by Bakugo. Get away from me, you traitor." Kaminari poked Kirishima in the eyes. (What he did to deku in the anime)

"I thought you were one of us." Kaminari pointed to a smug Mineta, who placed 8th in the mid term test. Mina and Kaminari went out of reality in gloom as they remembered what Aizawa said. 

"Anybody who failed this semester's finals will be moved to the general education class and someone will fill their spot in the class." 

Mina and Kaminari sulked as Kirishima and (Y/n) tried to reassure them. Yaoyoruzu saw them and offered some help which liberated their happiness. (Y/n) giggled at her friends behaviour. She was going to offer too but was glad Yaomomo came to their rescue. 

Their was only four days left before the finals started and (Y/n) was not going to be left behind. She was placed 7th in the mock test, not her normal place. She was determined to place in the top 3 and that would only happened if she worked her ass off in studying. 

Bakugo has been a little distant with her lately, she assumed he was finishing his studies too. They hardly met because he would be out or be locked in his room. Kirishima said nothing was wrong and he was going to look out for both of them. (Y/n)'s heart swelled at his declaration and made her way back to her room. She was packing for the weekend stay at home. 

She would definitely get back on her feet to be on level with Katsuki and to bring back her status.

~ TIMESKIP to day of practical exams since you and I wouldn't want to read plot of the written exam which is exactly the same like the anime ~

"(L/n) and Bakugo will be facing him." All might lands in front of the horrified pair. 

"You can't be serious right? We'll never win." (Y/n) exclaimed. Bakugo just clicks his tongue and looks at Nezu for explanation. 

"We, the teachers, will be wearing weights that will be half of our current weight to act as a handicap. You'll have two options while facing your respective teachers. Either to capture the 'villain' by using these handcuffs or to escape through the end gate. It's not cowardly if you choose the second because it's the protocol to call for backup or to retreat if you are facing a high level villain." Nezu gives a pointed look to Iida who just looks away.

"Alright then, you will have thirty minutes to complete this test which will be supervised by recovery girl. Teachers with the respective students will board the bus to reach their designated battle fields." With that everyone dispersed.

There was a weird tension between (Y/n) and Bakugo that All might sweat-dropped at. The bus ride was awkward. Bakugo and (Y/n) were sitting apart at either ends of the bus, deep in thinking. 'Their pair was supposed to be the strongest because of the dynamics but the situation seems to being taking a turn for the worse.' All might thought as he tried to diffuse the tension by offering to play a game but there was no response from their side.

All might gave them five minutes to discuss a plan as he set up near the end gate. (Y/n) and Bakugo awkwardly stood beside each other outside the gate as All might lifted off.
