Vampire AU

Lance's Pov: I always knew there was something off about him, the pale super sensitive to sunlight skin, the abnormal shade of purple that his eyes were, the pointy white canine teeth and just the general vibe he gave off, I ignored it at first but over time little things just seemed to stand out about him that didn't seem normal, he didn't eat with us, at the sight of blood he would scurry off as fast as he could, he would heal super fast from major injuries, stuff like that, the rest of the team didn't even seem to notice but my suspicions just rose, I decided today was the day, I had to know if he was what I thought he was, I grabbed my pocket knife my dad had given me for my 13th birthday out of my side tables drawer and headed for Keith's room

Keith's Pov: I could sense Lance way before he was even at my door, I could always tell where he was in the castle because of the strong aura he gave off, I waited for him to knock on my door before telling him to come in so it didn't seem suspicious

Lance: *Opens door* Hey

Keith: Hey

Lance's Pov: I close the door and lock it behind me, I hadn't thought this far into the plan, what was I supposed to do,just cut my finger and say "Hey, I know your a vampire, don't kill me please", I stop for a minute and think before I speak, I put my hands behind my back grabbing my pocket knife out of my back pocket, "Keith, why do you always eat alone?" I asked trying to seem genuinely curious, I press the knife against my finger while waiting for him to answer, I feel it pierce through my skin and then I slide it back into my back pocket and rest my hands at my side

Keith: Um... Well I just don't like to eat in front of other people

Lance: The blood from the cut on my finger is beginning to drip on the floor, I nod my head at Keith's response before glancing at the floor, Keith's eyes follow mine

Keith: Lance, you bleeding! Let me go find Shiro!

Lance's Pov: Keith stands up to leave but I grab his hand and turn him so he's facing towards me, "It's fine Keith, it's not that bad" I say simply

Keith: We should still bandage it

Lance: What?! Can't handle a little blood Keith?

Keith's Pov: I try not to look worried but I don't think it worked considering what he said next

Lance: Are you worried about something Keith?

Keith: No! *My heart starts to beat faster, I know if I don't get out of that room fast then I won't be able to handle myself*

Lance: Keith, do you need to tell me something?

Keith: No... Why would you think that?

Lance: I know Keith, I know your secret

Keith: What are you talking about?!

Lance's Pov: I hold my finger out towards him, I could see him fighting the urge to lick it off my finger

Keith: Lance stop! I won't be able to control myself much longer! *Right as I say that I lean forward taking Lance's hand and putting his finger in my mouth, I suck the blood off of his finger and then take it out of my mouth, then I realize what I just did and glance up at Lance with a worried look

Lance: Don't worry, I won't tell anyone... But if you don't mind me asking where do you get the blood? Don't you need it to survive?

Keith: Well yeah, I can go a while without it but when I start to get hungry I wait until everyones asleep and then I take my lion out and kill some galra soldiers, their blood isn't as good or filling as a humans but I can live off it

Lance: Wait! You've killed humans?

Keith: Only people who deserve it like serial killers and rapists

Lance: Oh, can you feed off a living person?

Keith: Yeah but blood donors are rare and hard to find

Lance: Would you rather drink human blood?

Keith: Yeah, it's healthier and it tastes way better

Lance: Well, I can be your blood donor

Keith: Lance, you don't have to do that

Lance: No, I want to

Keith: Okay, can I mark you?

Lance: What does that mean?

Keith: I'll bite your neck, the scarring will be minimal and the only reason I ask is because then other vampires won't bother you because you'll already be claimed

Lance: Yeah, I'd like that maybe along with a kiss

Keith: It's gonna hurt a little bit but only for a few seconds

Lance's Pov: I brace myself, I feel Keith's hot breath against my skin and then I feel him nibble at my neck for a second, almost like he was searching for something, I yelp slightly as he nibbles my sweet spot, then I felt a pain, it hurt pretty bad like he said it would but it didn't last long due to the fact that he was kissing me and I was too distracted with the amazing feeling of his lips against mine to feel the pain, I put my arms around his neck and pull him closer, we kiss for a while, only pulling away to catch our breaths

Keith's Pov: I take Lance's hand and walk him over to the door, I smile and say "See you soon?", I open the door and pull Lance's hand up to my mouth placing a kiss on it and then letting go so he could leave

Lance's Pov: I walk out the door and make it about 15 steps from Keith's door before I turn around and wink, I mouth "See you soon Mullet" and wave before continuing my way down the hallway towards my room
