Haunted House AU

Keith's Pov: Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays but Lance, he's a bit of a scaredy cat, I had to beg him for weeks to go to this haunted house with me, he finally agreed after realizing I just wasn't going to stop, we are just pulling in and Lance already has the petrified look plastered on his face, "Lance we haven't even gone inside yet and you already look about ready to shit yourself"

Lance: Shut up! You know I hate scary things!

Keith: Lance there are literally five years old in there plus I'll be there to hold your hand the whole time

Lance: *Grins* Okay, maybe this won't be so bad after all *Winks*

Keith: Lance, Really? *Rolls eyes*

Lance: Yep *Giggles*

Keith: *Giggles* You ready? *Holds out hand to Lance*

Lance: *Takes Keith's hand* As ready as I'll ever be

(Halfway through the haunted house)

Lance's Pov: This was a strange haunted house, it was more of a spooky romantic kind of house, another thing that seemed kind of off to me was that some of the ghosts seemed familiar which in all honesty scared me even more, Keith seems to know his way around the mazes and rooms pretty well though and we were moving through the haunted house pretty quickly, I have been jump scared a few times at this point but I feel safe knowing Keith is right there but that's when I turned around and realize he isn't with me anymore, I glance around the room before seeing something written on the wall in what looks like blood, it reads "Just follow the clues, it's as simple as that", I look around the room and see a fingerless glove, something I know Keith loves to wear and head in that direction, I end up standing in front of four archways, each a different color, the first being red, the second blue, the third purple and the fourth green, I start to think about it and decide to go with purple since it's Keith and I's favorite colors mixed together, then I see an arrow pointing towards a door, I open it cautiously expecting to be jumped scared but nothing happens, I glance around and then see blood splatters scattered across the floor, I follow them to another door, this one painted red, it has the words "The end" written on it, I hesitate before opening it but decide to, letting my curiosity get the better of me, I walk out still awaiting a jump scare but instead I see all my sisters, brothers, mother, father, some close friends, everyone from Voltron and a bunch more of my family, I am instantly confused but super excited as well, I look to my left and see Keith standing there, I turn to face him and he smiles before saying "Lance, I love you, always have, always will and I want to spend my whole life with you, the boring and the fun, the easy and the hard, everything, I want it to all be with you, I've spent the past few years loving you and I want to do it for a thousand more, so Lance McClain" I watch as Keith gets on one knee, tears filling my eyes while having the biggest goofiest grin on my face

Keith: Will you marry me?

Lance: Yes! Yes! One thousand times yes! *I start crying as Keith slides the ring on my finger, I jump into his arms, squeezing him as tight as I can, I pull my head out of the crook of his neck, staring into his eyes* I love you so much! *Kisses him*

Keith: *Pulls away smiling* I love you too Lance!
