It was a long day for Katsuki and all he wanted to do now is relax and soon fall asleep. Just as he put his head on his pillow, someone knocked softly on his door. He groaned loudly and closed his eyes, trying to ignore the knocking. After a while the knocking was still going, causing Katsuki to get angry.

"What the hell do you want?!" He yelled, his eyes still closed. The person didn't respond for a moment. Then, some sniffling was heard.

"Kacchan, can you let me in? I r-really need someone to," Izuku paused and sniffed. His voice was shaky. "T-Talk to."

Katsuki could hear Izuku's soft sobbing and hiccups, but stayed put in his bed. He didn't want to deal with Izuku's issues right now, but he couldn't ignore the more and more Izuku began to cry. With a huff, he threw his blanket off of himself and stomped to the door. He opened it roughly, about to yell, but froze after seeing Izuku's red, tear stained face. He looked like he was going to break, literally, any second.

"What.. happened?" Katsuki asked. He was surprised to see him that way.

"To-To-Todor-r-" Izuku's shoulders jolted repeatedly and he was having a hard time breathing. He could not form a proper sentence without stopping. Katsuki knew why that was happening, because of his anxiety.

Katsuki guided Izuku inside with his hand on his back. Izuku sat down on his bed and continued to cry. Katsuki sat next to him awkwardly. It's abnormal for him to comfort Izuku, much less even talk to him like a civilized person, but he knew he had to right now.

"Okay, just breathe, Deku. Calm down and breathe." Katsuki cooed. Izuku sucked in a breath and held it. After a couple of seconds he let it out. His breathing steadied a little bit, but he continued to hiccup and struggle to breath.

Katsuki forced himself to cradle Izuku in his arms. Izuku tightly wrapped his arms around Katsuki's neck and sobbed into his shoulder.

Katsuki stroked his back and whispered, "Breathe," repeatedly, along with other soothing words.

His comforting worked so well on Izuku, he almost fell asleep on his shoulder. Katsuki noticed and pulled away from him, holding him in place by his shoulders, snapping Izuku out of his sleepy state.

"What did Half n Half do, Deku?" Katsuki asked. After bringing up Todoroki, Izuku's eyes began to quickly water again. Katsuki pinched his cheek.

"Ow!!" Izuku yelled and pulled his hand away from his face.

"Quit your fuckin' crying and tell me!" Katsuki said. Izuku looked down.

"He.. broke up with me." He replied in a low voice. He bit his lip to distract himself from the tears beginning to well up in his eyes.

On the inside, Katsuki was ecstatic. He always thought that they got into a relationship too fast and that Todoroki didn't really love Izuku the way Izuku thought. He also wants Izuku all to himself, as selfish as it sounds. On the outside, Katsuki had to make himself look like that's such terrible news. He stopped himself from smiling twice.

"That's... terrible. Why?" He asked.

"He said that it wasn't working out." Izuku answered.
