School Project Pt 3 (Katsudeku)

"Bakugou!"

The two teens froze. Their smiles faded away after hearing the voice of a familiar red-head. Bakugou quickly scooted away from Izuku and Izuku started to pretend that he was reading. Kirishima ran over to them and took a seat in front of them.

"What the hell are you doing here, Shitty Hair?" Bakugou whispered, trying his hardest not to look at Izuku.

"Kami and I are here researching for the project, duh." Kirishima responded with a smile.

"Don't get smart with me, Shitty Hair." Bakugou growled. He was clearly irritated by Kirishima interrupting his and Izuku's alone time.

"Chill, man, I'm only joking!" Kirishima laughed. "Hey Midoriya, did you hear a bunch of laughing just now?" He asked.

Izuku jumped at the sudden use of his name.

"Oh, um, y-yeah I did! I wonder who that could've been, haha!" Izuku said nervously, scratching his head.

"I know right? So, how's the project going? Sorry about being paired up with this hot-head." Kirishima nodded his head towards Bakugou, who was slowly getting angrier and angrier.

"It's going good. And it's fine, Kacchan isn't that ba-"

"Don't you have a project to do, shithead? Go away and spend time with your own fucking partner!" Bakugou yelled, standing up. Kirishima and Izuku looked up at him, surprised. A few minutes after Bakugou's outburst, he and Izuku were kicked out of the library. They walked back to their neighborhood with only two pieces of information for their assignment.

Bakugou felt so bad. He kept looking at Izuku for any signs of disappointment or anger. But all he saw was a small smile. Why would he be smiling at getting kicked out of a library, he wondered.

"Well, this is where we part ways." Izuku said, stopping in front of Bakugou, grinning up at him.

"Why are you so happy? We just got kicked out of the fuckin library." Bakugou said. Izuku's smile grew wider. "God, his smile is so damn cute."

"Because," Izuku started. "I made you smile for the first time. I even made you die of laughter! I had such a good time with you."

Bakugou blushed at his words.

"Idiot. This isn't the first time you made me smile. You.. make me smile all the time." He said. He hated himself for feeling so blushy and stupid over this shitty nerd. He felt his heart ache with love.

Izuku, on the other hand, thought he was going to piss himself. He makes him smile? He could not believe his red-tipped ears. His mouth fell slightly open and he kept his eyes glued to the ground. He couldn't look up at Bakugou after his confession, and because his face was as red as Kirishima's hair.

"I should go. Bye." Bakugou said before running off into his house, leaving Izuku lovestruck on the sidewalk. Izuku walked home with the memory replaying over and over in his head. All he wanted to do now was scream in his pillow and tell the whole world that he makes Bakugou Katsuki smile.

Saturday came, and Izuku woke up to a text by Bakugou.

"We should meet at my place today. Be here by 1 PM."

A few hours passed and it was 1 PM. Izuku got dressed, kissed his mother goodbye, and left to Bakugou's house with his laptop and a bag of supplies. When he arrived, he knocked on the door and waited to be let in.

"Hey, Izu! I haven't seen you in a while!" Mitsuki, Bakugou's mother, greeted him as she opened the door. "Come on in! Don't forget to leave your shoes at the door, sweetie. KATSUKI, YOUR CRUSH IS HERE!" She called.
