22. Decorating The Nursey

Brandon and I are going to start decorating and organising our baby girls nursery too. We are excited as she will be arriving soon and we can't wait to be parents. We gave never decorated or designed a room before but we are very excited too. Can't wait in fact. We hope it's going to be a pretty pink palace for our baby girl. We lay sheets down in the room so we don't ruin the wooden floors. We have decided to go with a subtle beige colour as it's a nice colour and so it's not too bright. It's a colour we liked for the nursery. Brandon and I are in old clothes and we begin painting the walls. "This is fun panting the walls" Brandon said. "Yeah it is" I reply. "So much fun. Wahooo" he said. So we painted the walls and while that was drying we assembled some furniture. First the crib which we bought from IKEA. We followed the instructions but Brandon mainly did it. "I think that seems sturdy enough" Brandon said. "Yeah it looks perfect" I reply. We waited for the paint to dry before doing another coat. In the meantime we carry on assembling things. We do the second coat of painting before putting tings into position. We bring the chair in and a fluffy pink rug and and footstool and cushion. Think it's almost done now. "Wow! I love it, babe. It looks so good. Think we've done a pretty good job" Brandon said. "Yes I definitely have to agree, B" I reply. "Our little girl is gonna love this when she's here" he said placing his hand on my bump and kissing me. So Brandon and I are really proud of the nursery we designed today. It's so beautiful

Zion 💙

This afternoon Zion and I are going to organise the nursery and can't wait. Last week we got a professional decorator to paint the walls in the spare room which will be the nursery as we didn't have time to do it ourselves and plus we didn't want to mess it up. Okay so Zion and I start assembling the crib between us. We are going for a pretty plain and neutral colour scheme for the nursery so like brownish and beige colours. We think it will look good when we've done. So Zion and I assemble the crib by following the instructions. It wasn't too complicated tbh. I let Zion do most of the work as he volunteered to. "I think that's done" he said. "Yeah it looks good. It's a nice crib. Now we should do the changing unit/ table" I reply. So we get it out of the flat pack and start figuring out how to put it together. It wasn't too complicated like the crib. After that we put the chair together and the closet and bought before putting everything in position. I kinda envisioned where I would like everything. We put he crib by the wall and the chair next to it and then a table at the side with a lamp. I have got a footstool to go with the chair and a cushion. We then put the changing unit and closest into place before accessorising the crib and other things. We hang a couple of things on the wall too. In a couple of hours the nursery was completely and looking great. "It looks so cool, babe. I think we've done a fantastic job" Zion said high fiveing me. "Yeah it does. Team work, Z" I say. "Yeah, baby. Our little mans room" Zion said as he put his arms around me. We admire the nursery and how it tuned out. It's awesome. We love it. Just the perfect room for our little man
