47. Baby's First Steps

Sarah is about to turn a year old any day now. Me and Brandon are having a big birthday party for her when it's her first birthday and we can't wait for that. Brandon is looking after Sarah today as I've had to work. He's so good at looking after her on his own. At first I didn't know weather I could trust him but I definitely do now. He's the best daddy to our little angel i could ask her. I am on my way home from work now so I'll be back soon. Sarah is close to taking her first steps too so she might surprise me when I get home. Soon I arrive home at our apartment block and get the elevator up to where we live. I open the door and hear giggles coming from the lounge. I walk in and Brandon and Sarah are playing. "Hey, babe. You're back" he said. "Hey, my loves" I say. Sarah grabs onto the couch and pulls herself up onto her feet. She turns around and looks at me and takes a few steps towards me. "Yay! You just took your first steps, Sarah. Oh my gosh. That's amazing" I say. "It is. Yay! She's walking, babe" Brandon said. "She is indeed. Ahhhh how amazing, my little princess" I reply. I pick Sarah up and give her and kiss and a hug. Brandon comes over to us and hugs us too. What a lovely surprise to come home to? Sarah just took her first steps

Zion 💙

Kamari really loves going to the park and playing. He has not yet taken his first steps but me and Zion are encouraging him to. Hopefully he will soon because that would really be amazing. We really want to see our little boy running around and having fun too. We are at the park with Kamari right now. We decided to take him as me and Zion have a day off and it's also a nice day too so why not. We love seeing our little boy being happy. It makes us so happy too. Zion is pushing Kamari on the swings right now and he's having so much fun. "Do you wanna go higher, son?" Zion said. Kamari giggles so he pushes him higher. "Don't push him too much" I say. "I'm not doing" he replies. A little later on we play with Kamari in the park. We sit down on the grass. "Come on. Are you gonna walk for us?" Zion said to Kamari. He holds his hands and stands up. Zion holds onto his hands and Kamari starts moving his feet and legs. He slowly takes a few steps to us. "Yes you did it. You listened to daddy and he's so proud of you" Zion said. "Well done, sweetheart. We knew you could do it" I reply kissing him. We had a great day in the park and we are so happy that Kamari took his first steps

Edwin 🧡

The girls and I have joined Edwin on tour for about a week. The boys are doing another tour. Now that the girls are a year old they love spending time with their daddy and joining him out on tour with their uncles. They love life do Nala and Nia. The boys are playing in Philadelphia tonight and we are hanging out backstage with the girls. The boys love playing with them and having fun with them. I don't think they have a favourite uncle. They love them too. They are crawling around and shuffling as we are hanging out backstage. "Nia, Uncle Nick wants a cuddle. Come to him" Nick said. Nia looks at Nick and shuffles over to him. Nala is sitting on my lap but she gets fidgety and wants to join in with her sister. I put her down on the floor. Nala holds onto the couch and pulls herself up. "She's standing up" Brandon said. "She is. Nala, step towards daddy" Edwin said. A few minutes later Nala takes a couple of steps towards Edwin. We all clap and cheer. One of our girls just walked. "Yay! Well done, my angel. Daddy is so proud of you. I wonder if you're sister will do the same" he said kissing Nala. We all tried to get Nia to do the same but she's not doing it yet. Yay! We are so happy

Nick ❤️

Drew is almost a year old and he still loves going to the beach and playing and having fun. The beach is mine and Nick's favourite place to go together and it's Drew's now too. We've passed it onto him. Me and Nick are married now. We got married a few weeks ago and it was amazing. We are only just nicely back from our honeymoon in the Maldives. It was amazing but it's great to be back now with our little boy. We are at the beach right now with Drew. He loves crawling around in the sand and making sandcastles and also burying Nick with sand. Haha it's so funny when he does that. I can't help but laugh. Love both my boys. I am sat on a sun lounger watching Nick play with Drew. "Are you going to burry daddy, Drewster?" I say. Drew laughs and crawls towards Nick. He picks him up and kisses him. I continue to watch Nick and Drew play for a bit longer. Drew is crawling around everywhere and just having so much fun. I hear so much giggles coming from both of them. "Y/ N, Y/ N. Look Drew is standing up" Nick said. I had my head down looking at a magazine. "Ahhhh well done, good boy" I say. A moment later Drew takes us first steps and walks towards me. "Well done, baby boy. Mommas so proud of you" I say picking up Drew. "Dada is so proud of you too, son. Come to daddy" Nick said. Drew turns himself back around and takes a few steps to Nick. Today was great on the beach and Drew stood up and took his first steps today which was amazing. Me and Nick couldn't be any happier

Austin 💚

His POV

Amelia is turning a year old in the next few days and me and Y/ N can't believe it. We are so excited for our little princess turning a year old. She's growing up so fast and we can't believe she's nearly walking. It's so so exciting. I loved watching my little girl grow up. I'm such a proud daddy of her and Y/ N is a proud mommy. We are having a family fun day at home right now and it's nice to relax and spend time together just after it's been Christmas. It was Amelia's first Christmas too. She is playing with some of her new toys right now and me and Y/ N are watching her. She loves crawling around and just playing. "Amelia, what's this?" I say holding up her favourite teddy bear. She points at me and laughs. "You'll have to come and get him" I say. "Austin, just give it to her" Y/ N said. A few minutes later and Amelia gets up onto her feet. She wobbles a bit at first but she takes a few steps towards us on the couch. "Look she did it, Y/ N. How clever is our angel?" I say. "She's so clever" she said. "Now you can have your teddy bear and I little treat for taking your first steps" I say lifting Amelia up and kissing her. We are so proud of our little girl taking her first steps before her first birthday
