Strickler walked out of the dentist's office and walked into his car. He looked at his ringless finger. "The ring!"
He looked through the rearview mirror and saw Angor running toward him. He quickly reversed, hitting Angor with his car. He quickly drove off, with Angor chasing him again. He jumped on top of his car and stabbed his sword through the roof of the car. He climbed onto the windshield and poked his head through an open window. "You can't escape me now. After I'm through with you," he grabbed his shoulder. "I'll kill the Trollhunter and everyone else!"
"Are you mad?" Strickler asked.
"No! I'm free!"
Strickler opened the car door and jumped out right before the car went over a cliff, taking Angor with it.

"Then I took the Killstone from him," Jim said. "And never looked back."
"A valiant risk for the second Triumbric stone," Blinky said. "But you say Angor Rot's ring was destroyed?"
"Yeah," Jim said. "He wasn't very happy to lose his soul. Now that no one controls him, I guess he'll be on a warpath."
"All the more reasons to find the third and the last stone before he shows up again," Claire said as she and Toby walked into the room.
Toby ran over to Blinky. "Hey! Good to see you back to normal, Blinky! I was starting to miss you there."
"My only regret," Blinky said. "Was that I never had a chance to drive one of your automobiles."
"Say, what was that legend again?" Jim asked.
"Three forces elemental thou must seek in marshlands," Claire told him. "Caverns deep, and mountain's peak. If I can memorize 400 lines of Shakespeare, I can remember that."
"Check and check on the marshlands and mountains," Toby said. "That just leaves us the caverns deep."
"Trouble is, Tobias," Blinky said. "All trolls live in caverns deep. To search all would far outlast our life spans. Has anyone seen Aaarrrgghh? If we ever plan on finding the final stone, we'll need all hands on deck."

"Can you wiggle your fingers?" Vendel asked Aaarrrgghh, who shook his head. "The poison has spread," Vendel said. It will only grow worse. I'm afraid the effects are irreversible. You...still haven't told your friends?"
"Must help fight Gunmar."
"Then, I supposed you'll tell them you punched a wall," he started wrapping Aaarrrgghh's hand in a bandage. "You stubborn brute. But, one of these days, they'll find you turned to solid stone. You have to tell them."
"Not today."
"Very well, my friend. Not today."

"So," Toby said. "The last stone gave you those sweet thigh blades. What do you think this one will do?"
"I don't know," Jim said, looking at the Killstone in his hand. "We'll have to cut it and then we'll—"
The sound of a horn interrupted him. "What was that?" Claire asked.
All the lights in Trollmarket went out. "Not sure," Jim said, taking out his amulet. "But stay close."
The armor appeared on him and Bagdwella went over to him. "Put that sword away," she said. "Don't you know our guests are sensitive to light?"
"Guests?" Jim asked.
