Aaarrrgghh pushed onto the giant rock. "Too big."

"It's okay, wingman," Toby said. "You tried."

"It's hardly okay," Blinky said. "We're on the distinctly wrong side of the cavern's collapse. Merlin's tomb will now apparently become our own."

Aaarrrgghh covered his friends as the rocks fell onto them. "Or we could just go that way," Claire pointed to an opening nearby. "There's an opening."

"Thus, affording us the opportunity to be trapped somewhere else," Blinky said.

"Or it's a way out," Toby said. "You just gotta think positive."

"I'm not entirely sure I know how."

They walked through an opening and Claire looked at Jim, who stood outside the opening. "We can't leave him behind like this," Jim said.

"Draal would want us to keep going," Claire said.

They walked through the opening and they were led to more crystals. "This isn't taking us out," Toby said.

"We need to find a way to go up," Jim said.

"Right, yeah," Toby said. "Look for some stairs. Or better yet, an elevator."

They made their way into another cave. "That way," Aaarrrgghh pointed to another opening.

They walked through it and looked around. "Great Globus," Blinky said. "It's him."

"Is it really?" Claire asked.

"Must be," Aaarrrgghh said.

They were faced with a man laying on a table, covered in cobwebs. The man had grey hair with a beard and only looked 60 years old. He had bags over his eyes and even though he was asleep for centuries, he looked like he hasn't slept in days.

"Merlin," Jim said. The blue stone in his pocket started glowing and he stepped toward Merlin. Three blue lights flew out of the stone and into Merlin. His eyes shot open and he sat up on the table. His mouth was full of cobwebs and he coughed. He looked at Jim and his friends. "Are you the Trollhunters?" he asked. "I thought you'd be taller. Yes, I expected much taller. And older. How old are you? Ten?"

"Sixteen," Jim said.

"I guess I was only off by...six plus four, carry the one...fourteen years."

"Holy Merlin," Toby said. "It's really you!"

"Just what kind of troll are you?" Merlin asked.

"I'm not a troll. I'm a Toby."

"And who is this lovely creature?" he looked at Claire.

Blinky stepped forward. "Blinkous Galadrigal," He said with a wide grin on his face. "At your ser—"

"Not you. You." He pointed to Claire.

"Claire Nunez, sir," she said

"A pleasure, my dear."

"She gets to be 'my dear'," Toby said.

"Your sageness," Blinky said. "We—"

Merlin cracked almost every bone in his body.

"He was asleep for a really long time," Claire said.

"He was just sleeping?" Jim asked. "Shouldn't he be..."

"Well-rested?" Blinky asked.

"Dead?" Jim asked.

"True, but he is a wizard."

Merlin stood up from the table and fell. Aaarrrgghh caught him. "Prop me up, would you," he said. "You giant thing."
