Alyssa

*Six months later*

I skated through the school halls with a two cans of silly string. It took some time, but I eventually found Brandon Silver's gym bag in the corner. He was out at some sort of practice.

With a bratty smile, I opened the bag and sprayed the string inside. I saved the second can.

With that done, I skated out to the parking lot to his car and filled the interior of it with the remainder of the silly string.

Not that big of a prank, but enough to get the message across.

When school ended that day, I was on my way to find Myla. Instead, Brandon found me.

"What have I told you, little Alyssa? You mess with me, and you pay for it. You sick little slut. You deserved to die from that kidnapper." He moved to grab me.

"Hey Brandon."

He stopped, looking at me in confusion. "What?"

I smirked. I grabbed the front of his shirt and swiftly punched him in the nose.

Brandon stumbled back, cursing loudly. He glared at me. "What the hell? Since when can you punch?"

"My boyfriend gave me a few tips. Now back off. I don't want to have to fight you anymore."

Brandon rolled out his shoulders. "Oh, really? I'll fight you. I win, and I have my way with you."

"Okay." I kicked him in the balls. He doubled over and I curtsied. "Just ask if you ever want a black eye."

With that, I sauntered off, grinning victoriously.

Thanks to Kaden and his amazing training skills, I was actually quite a good fighter. I could definitely hold my own, though when we dueled I never seemed to win. But I suppose it made sense. He had a few more years of training than I did.

Still, we had our training session at eight o'clock every other day. It was really a thing I looked forward to all the time.

It was no different tonight as we did a few exercises and then sparred against another.

I was doing very well tonight. "Ha! You missed." I taunted as I danced back.

"You're just too short to hit." Kaden shot back.

"Therefore, I have the advantage." I lunged at him.

Kaden caught my fist and swept his foot under mine, causing me to fall flat on my back. He put his hands on either side of my head while his knees were on either side of my hips. He leaned down to me with a cocky grin. "I win, Shorty."

"I can see that." I breathed.

He tilted his head, his bright blue eyes sparkling. "I saw you punch Brandon. Good form. I was impressed."

"He deserved it. He probably needs worse, but I don't want to do anything illegal."

Kaden chuckled. "I'm sure he's scared of you now." His nose brushed mine. "You're unstoppable." He kissed me softly.

My hands moved to either side of his face as I kissed him back. His hand tangled in my hair while the other sat against my waist as the kiss deepened.

He was a really good kisser.

Kaden moved his other hand to the other side of my waist. "I love you, Alyssa Crane."

Joy leapt through me as those words left his mouth.

"I love you too, Kaden Wolfe."

He smiled and kissed me again, making my head spin. After six months he still had a dizzying effect on me.

A door suddenly slammed, making us both jump. "Hey, what are you doing?! How'd you get into the school?!" A fat custodian yelled.

Kaden jumped to his feet and pulled me upright. "Run!" He yelled with a laugh.

I shrieked and giggled like a six year old as we ran as fast as we could out of the gym and to Kaden's car.

"Way to ruin a romantic moment." Kaden laughed as we dropped into his car and he sped away.

I laughed. "Don't worry. I still love you."

"I love you too, Shorty."

The end

-----------------

The end 😁. Whatch y'all think? It was a bit short, but it was a fun little book to write. I don't know if I should do an epilogue. I might. Anywho! Vote if you like it. Thanks for reading (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)
