Ginny peered over her potions book. On the other side of the Gryffindor common room, she saw Harry. Harry Potter. Ginny sighed. She wished Harry would like her. But he was so stuck on Cho Chang. Harry turned his head and looked over at Ginny. Her eyes widened as she ducked under book, heart racing.
"Ginny," Harry calls to her as he walks over to her. "Why do you keep looking at me? Is it my face, is there something on it?"
"No, I, uh, I, um, I got to go talk to Hermione," Ginny stood up and all of her notes and papers went crashing to the floor. "Oh Merlin, now I, ugg, hmph," Ginny bent down and started to pick up her papers, not realizing Harry was helping her.
"Ginny," Harry's voice shocked her and she nearly fell backwards. "Will you maybe, go out, sometimes, with, um, me?
"Me? But what about Cho?" Ginny stuttered. Harry threw back his head and let out a soft but hearty laugh.
"I only told you I liked Cho because I thought you were hung up on Dean!"
"Oops. Well then Harry, I'd be happy to go out with you," Ginny smiled, " But don't tell Ron!"
Harry and Ginny both laughed.
