We pull up to the hotel and Danny carries my bags in. We walk straight to the elevator and Danny presses the 7th floor button and the doors close.

"You okay?" Danny asks after he sees me nervously playing with my hands.

"Yeah, Fine," I say sticking my hands in my pockets.

"So you and Shawn use to know each other?" Danny asks in this what seems like a never ending elevator ride.

"Yeah he moved to my high school for senior year," I say looking down at my feet then I hear the ding of the elevator.

We walk down the hallway and we stop outside a door.

"So this is your room, my rooms to the left, Shawn's is to the right and Andrew's is down the hall, the rest are for the crew, here's your key and you need to be down stairs at 7.30 for dinner," Danny says in one breath.

"Okay thanks," I smile and Danny puts my bags down.

"Well see you later," Danny says and he walks into his room.

I unlock my door and I walk in. In front of me is a large window and to the left of it is a big white squishy bed. There is a big enough bathroom to the left of the door and a cupboard and coffee machine to the right.

I put my bags down and I lay down on the bed and I sink in to it. A smile slowly grows on my face. Even though this isn't the best circumstance I'm still kind of excited. I look over to the clock and it says 5.04 so I still have 2 and a half hours until I'm needed for dinner.

I jump in the shower to wash the plane off me then I put on some ripped black jeans, a white spaghetti strap crop top, a grey cardigan and black ankle boot heels. I pull my hair up into a pony tail and I put on simple makeup. I grab my little black handbag and I put my phone, wallet, gum, key card, earbuds and a small note pad and pen in. I then grab my camera and I put it around my neck. I walk down the hall to the elevator and I press the button for the ground floor.

"Hold the door!" I hear someone shout and I hold the doors open. I look up and it's Shawn, "Hi."

"Hi," I say playing with my sleeves.

"So where are you going?" Shawn asks.

"For a walk," I say, "Don't worry I texted Danny to tell him where I'm going."

"Cool," Shawn says pushing his hand through his hair.

"What about you?" I ask.

"Going to the café to get food," Shawn says.

"You know we are going to have dinner in 2 hours," I say.

"Yeah, so," Shawn says.

"Nothing," I say.

"No say it, Alex, I don't want things to be weird with us I want it to go back to how things use to be," Shawn says looking me in the eyes.

"I can't, Shawn, it can't," I say just as the elevator doors open and I quickly walk out.

"Alex," Shawn yells behind me but I keep on walking.

When I step out side the cool breeze hits me and I take a deep breath. I start to walking the direction I think the park I went to when I was here while travelling. I finally reach the park and I start to walk around. I take some photos of things I see like a guy doing a flip, and an old couple holding hands on a park bench and to dogs saying hi. I sit down on a bench and I put in my earbuds. I put on some music as I take in the beautiful park I use to go to.

"Alex?" I hear someone say muffled and I look to my left.

"Noah?" I say taking out my earbuds and giving him a hug.

Noah is a guy I met while travelling and we became good friends, he lives here in Paris even though he was from New York. He showed me this park actually.

"What are you doing here?" he asks breaking from our hug.

"I'm actually on a job, I'm a photographer now and I'm on tour with Shawn Mendes because his photographer had to leave for some reason," I smile, "I'm sorry I didn't tell you I completely spaced I only found out yesterday."

"It's fine, I'm just glad you are here and I'm so proud of you that you actually started photography for a career your photos are amazing," he smiles giving me one of his big bear hugs completely engulfing me since he is 6'3.

"I missed you," I smile into his chest.

"I missed you to," he says pulling away, "So how long are you here?"

"To be honest I have no idea I'm meant to be finding out at dinner," I say, "Shit what time is it?"

"Em, 7.24," Noah says.

"Crap my dinner starts in 6 minuets," I say, "I'm not going to make it."

"Don't worry you will, here I'll come with you to make sure you get there safe," Noah says.

"Thank you," I smile, "Lets go."

I grab Noah's hand and we start running through the streets towards my hotel. As we run I can here my phone blowing up in my pocket but if I take it out to check it will slow me down. We get to the hotel with one minuet to spare and we walk into the lobby to be greeted by Danny and Shawn. When Danny sees us relief spreads across his face but when Shawn sees us with our hands still laced together he looks sad and I quickly let go of Noah's hand, I don't know why.

"Where were you I have been ringing your phone non stop," Danny says.

"Sorry I went to the park and then I bumped into my friend Noah and I lost track of time and it's not my fault I'm bad with time, even ask Shawn I was late getting home the first day we met," I say trying to catch my breath from all the running.

"Alex, you can't just go off running around with your boyfriend this is a job," Shawn says before walking away.

"Shawn," I say.

"When you said you were working for Shawn Mendes I didn't think you knew him personally, I should go," Noah says.

"Noah," I say.

"Let him go, we have a dinner to go to," Danny says looking a bit sad himself.

We walk into the restraint that is attached to the hotel and I sit down beside Andrew.

"Sorry Alex is late she bumped into her boyfriend," Shawn says.

"Shawn, he is not my boyfriend, he is a friend I met while travelling," I say.

"When did you go travelling?" Shawn asks as if it never happened.

"You know after I graduated like I planed I went travelling across the world, but I guess you wouldn't know that because you left and never looked back, it was also when I started photography, and I'm sorry Andrew for this interruption," I say giving Shawn a glare and he looks kind of shocked.

"It's fine Alex, but lets try pretend you don't have a history," Andrew says.

"Fine by me," Shawn says.

"Yep," I say noticing how many people are at the table and heard Shawn and I arguing.

"Anyway lets begin," Andrew says.
