"Alex?" Hayden says as I quickly stand up and I start gathering my things, "I was just joking, where are you going?"

"I'm late," I say picking up my purse and shoving it into my handbag.

"Late for what?" Hayden asks and I stop what I'm doing and I look her in the eyes.

"No, Hayden, I'm late," I say and I grab my keys and head out to my car.

"Wait for me I'll come with you," Hayden yells following me outside.

"No Hayden, this is something I have to do by myself," I say and I pull out of the drive way.

I put on some sunglasses to hide that it's me because if anyone spots it's me buying a pregnancy test it will be everywhere. I walk in and buy the test and then I go into there bathroom and follow the instructions. I wait the few minuets it says but then I freak out and shove the test back into the box and then into my bag and I just start driving. Before I know it I'm walking into my apartment with Taz and Ollie looking at me weird.

"I'm scared," is all I can say before I take the box out of my bag and hold it out so they can see it.

"Oh my god are you?" Ollie says as they rush over.

"I don't know I couldn't look," I say sitting down on the couch with my head in my hands.

"Do you want me to?" Taz asks holding the box and I nod my head.

There is silence for a few moments before the words that will change my life for ever are said.

"Alex, your pregnant," Taz says.

All at once I feel like I'm going to pass out, get sick, cry and yell. I sit up straight and take the pregnancy test in my hands to make sure they aren't messing with me and there in blue writing it says pregnant.

"Oh my god, what am I going to do," I say as I start crying.

"Is it Shawn's?" Ollie asks and I nod my head.

"I don't get how this happened we only did it once on Halloween and now, how am I going to face him after all this time," I say through shaky cries.

"Okay first you need to breathe," ollie says placing her hand on my back and rubbing circles on it, "And you know having this baby isn't the only option."

"It is for me, I'm keeping this baby and I'm going to be a single mom and that's fine by me," I say standing up and walking over to the mirror and looking at my stomach, "It's probably just going to be you and me little squid but we will be fine."

"And you will always have me and Ollie and Hayden and your mom," Taz says walking over to me.

I take a deep breath in and the tears I have been trying to hold back stream down my face. I feel like all I have been doing the last few weeks is crying and I hate it.

"How am I going to tell Shawn, I can't tell him it will ruin his career if he has a kid, I should tell him but give him the choice, oh god I don't know," I say flopping down onto the couch, "This isn't fair, this wasn't how this was meant to go, this is not how I planed my life to go."

"Life doesn't always go to plan or it would be boring and you don't have to decide on anything right now, you have time, you should go back to your mom's Hayden is probably so confused, if you talk to them it might help clear things up," Ollie says.

"Thanks, both of you, you guys are the best," I say standing up, "I'll text you if I'm staying at my mom's"

I pick up my things and I head back to my mom's house. I walk in the door and Hayden and my mom come running up to me. Hayden pulls me into a big hug while my mom stands back a little with a cup of herbal tea in her hands.

"Are you?" Hayden asks and I nod my head which makes her hug harder.

"Be careful Hayden you don't want to squish the baby," my mom scolds, "I'm so happy for you sweetheart your going to be a great mother," she says giving me a side hug.

"It only just hit me that I'm going to be a mother," I say with my heart starting to quicken.

"And I'm going to be an aunt," Hayden squeals, " and you are going to be a grandmother."

"Your making me sound old and I'm only in my late 30's," my mom says.

"I can't wait to tell all my friends that I'm going to be an aunt," Hayden says running into the living room and my mom and I follow her.

"Hayden you can't tell anyone because I don't know if I'm going to tell Shawn or not and he can't find out through some tweet after one of your friends puts it together," I say sitting down.

"Are you sure it's Shawn's," Hayden asks as my mom starts looking through some cupboards.

"Yes I'm sure," I say.

"Because sometimes it can be hard to know who the dad is," Hayden says.

"Hayden it's Shawn's I'm not the type of girl to be sleeping around," I say trying to get comfortable among the countless throw pillows on the couch.

"Here I thought you might want to look through these," my mom says placing photo albums and diaries she made from when she found out she was pregnant with me throughout my childhood.

We spend all evening looking at baby pictures and looking back at old times and reading what it was like for my mom to be pregnant at such a young age. I text Ollie and Taz that I'm staying over and shortly after that I fall asleep on the couch.

This evening made me know what I'm going to do, and I start to come to terms with the whole situation.
