The long way home || Shawn Mendes||

I love waking up in Shawn's arms. The sense of safety that comes with it. When I wake up Shawn is still asleep with his arms wrapped around my waist with small snores escaping his lips. The sun hits his face through the small gap in the curtains illuminating his face in a way that it makes him look like he isn't even real like this is all a dream and soon I'll wake up and reality will come crashing down on me. My mind thinks back to the night mares I can't escape from every night they haunt me but every night Shawn is there by my side. As I lay here staring at this beautiful human his eyes start to flutter open and he smiles when he sees my face before pulling me in for a tight hug.

"Hi," he says making some space between us again but his arms still around my waist.

"Hi," I smile still amazed that I get to wake up beside him every morning.

"We should probably get up so we can do a little sight seeing before we head to the venue," Shawn says.

"Yep," I smile giving him a pec on the lips and sitting up.

I put on some blue ripped jeans and a dark red long sleeve turtle neck, a chunky black belt and my black heeled boots. I Dutch braid the front of my hair before pulling it back into a pony tail with the ends still curled from yesterday. I put on my make up and for the first time in ages I put in little silver dangly earrings to go with my piano necklace.

"Hey," Alessia says when I walk out of the bathroom.

"Sup," I say nodding my head before bursting out laughing, "Are you and Danny coming with us?" I ask.

"I'm not Danny is since lots of fans know you are here and will be looking for you, I just wanted to see how you are doing," Alessia says.

"I'm good," I smile looking out to see Shawn on the balcony talking with Danny.

"You sure?" Alessia asks looking worried.

"I'm sure, relax Lessa, I would tell you if something was wrong," I say sitting down beside her on the bed.

"Like you told me about the nightmares you have been having which don't make it sound like you are okay," Alessia says holding my hand.

"Shawn told you I'm going to kill him," I say standing up.

"No Danny heard them while on the tour bus," Alessia says walking over to me and putting her hand on my sholder. I turn around and pull her into a huge hug and she just rubs my back.

"I'm happy, so fucking happy but then these dreams happen as if they are telling me that one day reality is going to come crashing in and I might not survive that," I blurt out which makes Alessia hug me tighter. In the last few weeks we have gotten really close.

"I will always be here to block some of the wreckage," Alessia says stepping back and wiping away the few tears that escaped my eyes.

"Thanks," I say taking a deep breath.

"You okay?" Shawn asks coming back inside with Danny.

"Yep, you ready?" I say playing with my necklace.

"Yeah sure," Shawn says grabbing my hand and we leave.

We head to the Guinness tour which I really enjoy. We then do a little shopping before heading to the concert. While Shawn does the Q&A and the sound check I go into his dressing room and I put on my head phones and I blast Flare guns by Quinn XCII and I dance around the room. I nearly jump out of my skin when I feel a tap on my sholder.

"Jesus Shawn," I say flopping down on the couch.

"You know you are really cute when you think there's no one watching," Shawn laughs sitting down beside me.

"Shut up," I say hitting him with a pillow.

I pull out my phone from my pocket since it has been buzzing non stop for the last few minuets.

"Shit," I say handing Shawn the phone with an article about Shawn and I saying that we are official with a photo of us kissing in the park attached.

"Crap," Shawn says running his hands through his hair, "I guess that whole keeping it to ourselves thing isn't going to work," Shawn says and we both start laughing.

"We really didn't do a good job at hiding it to be honest we did make out in the middle of a park," I laugh as Shawn draws circles on my leg with his finger.

After the concert we have a movie night and we watch the proposal as well as Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone, spider man home coming, midnight sun and tangled. It's around 7.30 in the morning when we finally go to sleep. We then sleep for a few hours before getting the plane to England.

We lounge for the rest of the day playing cards with Danny and Alessia. The next day we go to the Warner Brothers Harry Potter tour. It is one of the coolest things seeing how they made the movies and getting to try food from the franchise. We giddily run around the place the excitement taking over taking so many photo's that my memory card gets full. The concert is amazing just the energy.

Tomorrow is Halloween and we are going to Niall fricken Horan's Halloween party.
