After the breakup with Elizabeth, Meliodas leaves the Boar Hat & The Seven Deadly Sins.
And here is where this story begins...
Gowther: Captain. This is not the way back to the Kingdom.
Merlin: We're headed in the direction of...
Meliodas: Yeah. Didn't I tell you? We're making a pitstop.
King: Edingburgh? This is the castle where...
Gowther: ESCANOR MADE A MESS OF IT!
( Melascula is laughing. )
Zeldris: Let's get down there.
( Meliodas, Melascula, and Zeldris fly down into the hole. )
Hawk: If I remember right, the Captain created this hole, didn't he?
Merlin: I see. So his aim is to break the seal.
Hawk: Seal?
Merlin: Twelve years ago, the Vampires attacked, and The Seven Deadly Sins were tasked with coming here to deal with them. The Captain didn't kill one particular vampire and, instead, used dark magic to reseal her. That vampire's name is Gelda.
( Meanwhile down in the hole. )
