A few days later, on a boat, nearing the port of Crestfall...
Violet felt sick. It was her first trip out of the country in months. And she felt very, very sick.
'I feel...erkkkkk!' she thought holding her mouth.
Violet swallowed the vomit that nearly came out of her mouth.
GULP!
'YUCK!' she exclaimed.
Violet hung her arms from the railing of her balcony. She really didn't feel well.
'What on earth? I'm not supposed to feel seasick. I've never felt seasick! Maybe because I haven't been going out enough? Maybe my body got too used to staying in one place for too long? Yeah, that's probably it...erkkkk!'
She felt her guts rumble in agony. This feeling felt so disgusting. Both inside and out.
Violet had taken the request brought to her by the ambassador, Singh Heckler. The request came from the King of Crestfall himself. Apparently, Violet's official capacity for being in Crestfall would be the young Prince's *lister*. For three weeks, she would be assisting the Prince and listing down his progress and work in royal duties. She'd give an objective report of how the Prince conducted himself as a royal. This would be personally looked at by the King himself after the time period of three weeks ended.
*A lister is an important part of the society of Crestfall. You see, listers are hired by parents to grade their children's day-to-day affairs for a certain time period. These affairs can include school, social life, athletics , arts, home-life, chores, physical attributes, and even mental state. This information is then compiled to see if the child will be suitable in the future to inherit their parent's occupation or if they are more suited in another job.*
Singh Heckler had already gone back to Castle Crestfallen for he was required by the Queen for diplomatic affairs. Currently, the state of Castle Crestfallen could be described in two words... ...extremely busy. No servants or helpers to the throne could be available to escort Violet to Castle Crestfallen. Violet told Mr. Heckler that she would be fine. No escort would be needed. She had already become used to the idea of travelling alone.
'There won't be any stress or trauma. I can do this!' she pumped herself up.
Suddenly...
HAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The boat's horn signaled their arrival at port.
Violet, regaining her strength, viewed the kingdom. 15 warships were docked at the main port itself. This kingdom was known for its naval might. No other continent, country, nation, or kingdom has beaten its unstoppable naval force. I'll give you an example. 1 warship of Crestfall clashed with 3 united warships from Kimshan, Melnopst, and Lawtenmist in a battle about 3 years ago. The warship from Crestfall was the only ship that sailed out of that battle.
