"Hurry! *PANT!* Hurry!" Violet panted as she descended the steps as quickly as she could. "He's going to *PANT!* get away with her! *PANT!"

Headmaid Presta helped the injured Doll go down the steps carefully and as quickly as possible.

"Well, that's not particularly easy, Miss Evergarden, because I'm supporting you after all!" Headmaid Presta reminded as they made another few steps.

"Sorry! *PANT!* I'm asking too much of you. *PANT!*" Violet realized her error.

"No worries...just...hold on tigh...OH! There's the door!" Headmaid Presta pointed out.

They had reached the bottom and there was the emergency exit to the parking lot.

Violet kept one arm around the Headmaid and used her free hand (right hand) to unholster her revolver.

She held that gun firmly and she thought...

'I'm not losing you, Eva...'

Headmaid Presta put her left hand against the door to push it open. But before she did, she looked at the blind Doll and said...

"We might not come out of this alive, y'know?" Headmaid Presta gave the facts.

Violet felt scared, but her care for her friend was greater than the fear of this new danger.

She looked in Presta's direction.

"Yes, I know." she stated. "But I'm willing to fight if it means Eva gets to come home to Leiden with me. She's officially my co-worker after all. And she's now also...my friend."

Headmaid Presta smiled.

"Okay, then. I understand," she began. "Let's go."

Violet held her pistol in her hand tight.

Presta pushed open the doors and they walked in...

"How annoying..." began the man standing in the middle of the parking lot.

"What the hell...?" the Headmaid spoke, completely confused.

It was something that Presta had never seen before in all her years of being Headmaid/Battlemaid. In fact, based on this time period. I'm pretty sure she saw this as completely foreign and unknown.

"What the bloody hell?!" she said again.

"What?! What is it?!" asked the anxious and very worried Doll.

"Well, if I'm gonna put it simply..." spoke Headmaid Presta. "He's armored. Like literally everywhere."

He was wearing some sort of armor. It covered his body fully. Arms, legs, face, chest...basically every inch of him was covered. The helmet was yellow and had two slits for eyes that glowed with a light of the same colour.  Two tubes ran from back of the helmet to the back of the body plate. And there was steam hissing from the back.
