All the guests stood in the front of the hall. A small stage had been set up right in the front for the speech. Everyone was excited to hear what the young prince had to say.

This speech would be a determining factor. It would show if he truly was a person of noble heart ready to lead his people or a spoiled brat unworthy of something so high.

Public trust would either increase or decrease too, depending on what was said today.

Violet and Eva along with large crowd of people were in great anticipation.

Violet held Eva's hand to reassure her.

"You good?" Violet asked her friend.

"Yeah..." Eva paused for a moment, let out a breath, and spoke. "...I know that he's gonna be okay."

Violet opened her mouth to say something, but was cut off...

"Ladies and gentlemen," the voice on-stage began.

Violet and Eva turned to the stage to see a man in a formal army jacket. On his head, there was a beret cap.

It was Left Adviser Dmitri Ballace.

"As Left Adviser, it's my honor to introduce to you, Prince Shane Arnwood of Crestfallen," he said calmly.

A round of claps sounded as Prince Shane made his way to the stage.

Left Adviser moved to the side to allow the Prince to take center-stage.

The Prince sweated felt beads of sweat form on his forehead.

"Hello, I uh...um...I..." he stammered nervously in front of the crowd.

People started giving the nervous Prince looks of judgment.

Some looked as if to say..."this is the best Crestfall has to offer?".

Others looked as if..."what a joke!".

"While a few others..."I hope he's able to convey everything properly. Poor boy. I pray to God that he doesn't freeze up on stage in front of all these important people.".

Eva was in the latter group. She said that she believed in Shane and knew that he'd do well, but of course she was worried.

Eva tightened her grip in Violet's metal hand.

Violet noticed Eva was getting anxious for him.

Violet whispered in Eva's ear.

"He'll be fine. Don't worry so much about him."

Eva nodded solemnly, but kept a firm hold of Violet's hand out of stress.

After a few seconds of nervousness, the Prince shook his head and tried to start over.

"Hello, everyone," he greeted again, only this time more confidently.

He kept his hands behind his back. He breathed in and out. Then, continued.
