She could hear this chaos, but it felt distant and far away. It didn't even matter...
Tears trickled down Violet's pale cheeks.
"Miss Evergarden...you'll be okay. Don't worry, you'll be okay," Headmaid Presta comforted.
Violet blinked her blue-faded eyes. Then, she tried to looking with her eyes again.
"I really can't see anything..." Violet let the reality sink in. "My eyes..."
Tears filled her eyes. The reality was that she couldn't see. Why? She didn't know. Was this permanent? Temporary? Could it be fixed? She had no idea.
Violet didn't know what was going on. She felt terrified. But despite that intense fear welling up inside of her. She had people to be concerned for more than herself. She had to put away her own feelings for now. She had no time to feel selfish.
"*sniffle!* Damn tears!" she mumbled.
She hurriedly wiped them off her face.
"Presta?" she called out for Headmaid Presta. " Which dirtbags do I have to punch out besides that damn traitor!"
Violet's attitude completely changed. She looked mad as hell.
"It's not gonna be easy Miss Ever...SHIT! LOOK OUT!" the Headmaid screamed.
