The young Prince walked to his room. His sister, Princess Emaya was on her side of the room, playing darts. She hurled a dart.
THUK!
She got 8 points.
And another.
THUK!
She got 9 points.
She threw the last one with as much force and accuracy she could muster.
THUK!
"I got a bullseye," she said nonchalantly and did an unenthusiastic celebratory dance.
Her brother, now lying on his bed, heard her statement.
"Not bad, Emaya," he commented. "Can I try?"
"Shane, don't you have to turn in your written report for your listing test to Miss Evergarden?"
Prince Shane scratched the back of his head.
"You're not done are you? You set it off for a while and then totally forgot it, didn't you?" Princess Emaya deduced. "I told you to do it like how many times now? And you kept brushing it off!"
Prince Shane quickly sat up in his bed.
"But I wanted to have fun with you, Emaya. It's just so much fun to hang with yo..."
FWOOOOOSHHH!!!!
THUK!!!!
"Eeeeeepppp!!!!" he shrieked.
A dart pierced the bed's headrest. A few inches away from Shane's ear.
"I didn't ask you to hang out with me, Shane. As the future leader of Crestfall, you need to get your act together," spoke Emaya. "It's bloody compulsory, Shane. A king is never late with any duties he must accomplish. He doesn't just set it aside and forget."
Emaya slowly walked toward her brother's corner of the room.
"E-Emaya? What's with that f-face? You're s-scaring me, y'know?" he stuttered. "Com'on...S-Sis,"
"Really? I'm scary, huh? That's good. You should be scared."
Emaya came as near as she could to her brother.
The Prince felt beads of sweat form on his forehead and back.
"STOP. SCREWING. AROUND. DUMBASS."
"Y-Yes, ma'am," he instantly responded. "I w-will m-ma'am!'
"GET THAT DAMN WRITTEN TEST DONE BEFORE I DECIDE NOT TO MISS AND SEND THAT SAME DART STRAIGHT THROUGH YOUR HEAD!!!! GOT IT???"
"Y-YES MA'AM!!!!" Shane replied with a salute and quickly jumped off the bed and to his feet. "WAIT! YOU MISSED?!?! MEANING YOU WERE ACTUALLY AIMING FOR ME?!?!"
