I unlocked the back of the bar and stepped in, closing the door behind me and making my way to the front, pulling out a rag from under the counter. Another day, lemme get started on cleaning. I have to finish before the owner comes back. I jumped as a strong knock richoted from the front entrance.
"Open up and gimme some booze!" A male voice called out.
A customer? But we're not open yet... Besides the owner isn't here.
"Sorry. We're not open..." I called out as I continued wiping down the counter. Then, two men barged in, breaking the front door. "Hey!" I shouted.
"Gimme some booze, ya damn bar!" The one with horrible acne scars and a blue vest yelled. His friend was extremely overweight and bared a long scratch across his chin.
What am I gonna do?! They look like bad guys..
"I'm really sorry, we're not open 'till late afternoon." I tried apologizing but it only made them angrier.
"Hm! You wan' us t' go away, don't ya!" He went behind the bar where I stood.
"No, please.." I backed into a corner.
"Oh whatta.." He grinned and looked me over. "Whatta nice body ya got." He pressed me against the wall and I tried to push him away.
"No! Stop! Lemme go." I cried out.
"Stop?" He laughed and it sent a shiver of disgust down my spine. "Booze and women are doctor's orders!"
The other pressed a knife against my cheek and my heart threatened to fly straight out of my chest.
"Ya pay for not given us booze, ya here?" He gripped his hand tighter and I winced.
"Somebody help!" I called out, praying someone would find me.
Just then, a loud gun shot went off and the guy with the knife dropped to the ground, holding his arm. The one that was on me turned to see the commotion and it gave me a chance to put some space between us.
"Too many bottom feeders around here," someone snorted.
He had an eyepatch on and a gun in his hand... Is he a bad guy too?
"Stop flirting with a child, its embarrassing." He shook his head and twirled his gun in his hand as the one still up approached him.
"Who are you?" The acne ridden guy shouted. but the man just ignored him as he looked me over in disgust.
"You go for a scrawny one like this?" He rolled his eyes.
Scrawny! That's an insult! He must be a bad guy!
"That's it, you're over." My attacker growled and stormed toward him just as someone else barged in.
Who's this one now?!
"Eduardo!" The new guy shouted. "Don't go alone!"
"Who are you?! Are ya with this guy?!" The person facing the eyepatch, apparently Eduardo, asked. The new guy grinned widely and pulled out two swords. Two!
"Stop braggin' when ya got nothin' t' brag about!" He roared.
Over the commotion, the buddies of the hooligans seemed to have wondered in and had added up to a mighty number. These two better stop acting so tough, its two against ten, they don't hold a chance.
The two sword fencer began taking down one after another and Eduardo pulled out his gun, joining the fight, but he was only shooting at their weapons..
"Who..who are these guys?!" One asked.
"You..you..you are Sirius!" Another yelled as he ran from the scene.
