Next day.
"Listen up and listen good! We're headed to the Bloody Triangle!" Captain shouted. "As you all know, Bloody Triangle is where all the pirates hang out!"
"We hafta go through there t' get t' the treasure." Russell smiled.
"That's right!" Captain laughed. "Brace y'selves fer the rest of the journey!"
"Lets get goin'!" Russell cheered. "Wait, where's that woman?!"
"Wait fer me!" Fuzzy called as she came running up to us. "I was buyin' a dress."
"Do they even make dresses in yer size?!"
"Why, you dirty loincloth!" She growled at him and I had to supress a giggle.
"Can ya cut out that low grade fightin'?" Nathan rolled his eyes. "Lets get outta here."
"Wait." Captain turned to me. "The girl."
"What?" I asked, feeling nervous under his stare.
"You can get off the ship here if ya want." He shrugged.
"What..?"
"I was gonna feed ya t' the sharks, but ya've been workin' hard fer us." He laughed. "I'll let ya go free in respect fer yer hard work."
He'll let me go free.. I might be able to get back to Yamato from here.
But out of the corner of my eye, I could see Eduardo just looking at me in silence.
"Only if ya wanna!" Cap grinned cheekily at me. "Ya can stay with us too!"
"Captain..."
"Ya work hard, and coupled with that plump lady yer kinda entertaining." He laughed.
"Delilah, you don't have to." Doc shrugged. "You're only a commoner."
Everyone's eyes are pointing at me.
"I'd..like to stay on the ship for a little longer," I said quietly.
"You got it!" He chuckled and slapped my shoulder, pulling me up onto the deck with everyone following.
"We get to keep travellin' with ya!" Thomas smiled and gave me a hug.
"This elephant's gonna miss ya so much if ya go now!" Russell laughed.
"Hey! Who's the elephant?!" Fuzzy roared.
"I'm gonna give ya a helluva lot of work t' do!" Nathan teased but smiled brightly at me.
Eduardo was the only one left as he walked up and patted me on the shoulder.
"You're an out-and-out idiot."
"We're gonna have a party t'night t' honor Delilah stayin' on board with us," Captain shouted.
"Whoa! Is this Nathan's special?!" Thomas cheered.
"What's Nathan's special?" I asked.
"Fish noodle soup." Nate explained, ladling some into my bowl.
"We have Yamato's special, lightly roasted bonito." Doc nodded. "And roasted properly."
"Oh my gosh, Nathan! Thank you!" I smiled as I filled up my plate.
"Hey, Nate! Can I have bitter melon stirfry?" Russell called. "I heard its real good fer yer health."
I don't think they have bitter melon on this ship...
"I can do that."
"Thanks, dude!"
