Chapter 3

I shivered as cold air radiated across my skin and I sat up, coughing sea water everywhere. I blinked my eyes open as I looked around to see Doc staring at me worriedly.

"You took some water but you seem to be okay." He smiled at me.

"Er..I.." I frowned as I tried to remember what had happened.

"You feel into the sea from the impact."

Right, my clothes are soaking wet and I'm cold.

"Thank God! I was so worried!" Thomas smiled as he helped me up. "I thought ya both were eaten by sharks!"

"Both?" I frowned as I looked at him confused.

"Whaddya gonna do with this puny thing? Not even enough t' feed a shark." Eduardo said gruffly as he ran a hand through his soaked hair.

"Eduardo saved ya, Delilah." Russell explained, as he took my other arm to make sure I wouldn't fall.

"Eduardo..?" I whispered.

"Yer crazy jumpin' int' the sea in the middle of the night." Russell laughed. "Ya both coulda' drowned."

"Russ's right." Nathan shook his head. "Ya should thank 'im fer savin' yer life."

He saved my life....

"I was kinda shocked.." Doc mumbled. "For him to risk his life to save you."

Don't die, Delilah.

Eduardo risked his life, just in an attempt to save me...

"Eduardo, I don't know how to thank you.." I trailed off.

"Losin' ya would be a big loss fer our ship since ya werk hard." He shrugged.

He was trying to help me escape before...

"You're lucky Eduardo was the one who found you, he's a first class swimmer." Doc smiled.

I glanced over to where he stood near the edge of the deck. He's had no expression on his face for a while now.

"Moldor Navy was just teasin' us, weren't they?" Captain Morgan shook his head.

"Screw 'em!" Russell shouted. "They started shootin' as soon as they saw us!"

"No kiddin'." Eduardo rolled his eyes. "That's their job."

The Moldor Navy? They're patrolling this part of the ocean?

"Captain!" Thomas called out. "Our boat was knocked off course by the impact."

"Well, the Rika pulled out pretty quick cause the Moldor Navy scared the hell outta them!" He laughed. "Let's just continue the party inside!"

"Our party's messed cause of that fat bitch!" Russell roared as the last of us were inside.

"Hey! Who ya sayin's fat?!" Fuzzy yelled as she barged into the room.

"What the hell?!" He shouted. "Didn't ya go home?!"

"Simpleton!" She rolled her eyes. "I never go home without tellin' Master Eduardo that I truly love him!"

"Simpleton!?"

"Master Eduardooo." She called, sweetly.

Whoa, she can change so drastically from person to person..

Captain was staring at her for a long time.

"Yo, plump woman." He said.

I guess that's nicer than calling her fat..
