Ian, his mom, sisters, brother, Matt, and Dom were all sitting in the living room on the couch. It was pretty quiet, just his family talking amongst themselves.

From the couch you could hear keys jangle outside the door. Grace turned towards Ian, "Are you expecting someone? I thought everyone was already here."

The door opened and Jaden walked in, "Hey, I'm a little earlier then I said I would be. Yo, Matt, I drove by Tavia's house and it looked like she was leaving. Is she coming over?"

Matt smiled and nodded, "Yeah, is that cool with you guys?"

"We don't really have a choice do we?" Dom asked and Matt shook his head.

Jaden walked over to where Ian was sitting by his mom, "Is Romil here?"

"Romil, come down here!" He yelled and smiled back up at Jaden.

Romil ran down the stairs, almost slipping on the last couple steps, "Yeah? Oh, hey Jaden."

"Hey, so I have news," he said looking between the two of them. "So you know the house that's like ten minutes away from here. Well, it's still up and I was able to put an offer on it."

"Sweet!" Romil yelled, stepping off the last step.

"That's awesome," Ian said.

"Yes, you'll still be close to us," Matt said.

"What does it matter to you, you're moving out anyway," Dom pointed out.

"Well, is that all JJ?" Romil asked, holding onto the railing.

Ian rolled his eyes, "Seriously Romil? Do you never listen when I tell you to stop."

He shook his head and Matt laughed, "We're all going to call Jaden, JJ, just to annoy you."

Jaden just shook his head at them, "Yeah Romil, that was all." Then he looked at Ian, "I'm hungry, you guys wanna go out?"

"Jaden, I'm not going to let you pay for all of us," Ian said.

"You don't have to let me," he smiled. "Who wants to go?"

Ciarán came running down the stairs, "Did someone say something about food?"

"Jeez, is everyone going to come?" Jaden mumbled.

Dom laughed, "Jaden, you should know better. When you mention food around us, you have to feed us all."

"Fine, text the groupchat and let's go," he said walking towards the door.

dom: if you can drive get a group of people to take

Ian ran to catch up with him as he walked outside, "You can't be serious about going to dinner with my family."

Jaden smiled, "Oh, I'm very serious."
