***Liam's POV***
i stood next to Hope as Venus was on stage singing Lightweight. i was beyond surprised that Louis made a surprise visit and even sang 3 of our songs when we were in the band.
"okay guys this song is a cover of Cassie's song Me & U. i'll be doing one of my songs and then a cover song from different artists." Venus's voice spoke to let the fans know what she was gonna do and i was proud of her.
Me & U played over the speakers and i saw Venus was wired differently than usual, she had a mic strapped to her face instead of her holding it and i knew it was because of the cover songs she was doing were dancing songs, songs that would be in clubs at the year they came out.
i stood next to Hope who quickly handed me the phone as i waved to Hannah, Crystal and her father and showed them her performance. i knew it killed Venus being away from them. i also knew her birthday was coming up in a couple weeks. i had a couple surprises up my sleeve.
after the song ended, Here we go Again started playing and she instantly got into it as did her fans. i glanced at the phone to see her dad grinning as her friends jammed out to the song. i chuckled as i smiled.
i soon turned the camera towards me and smiled at them, "so Liam how is my daughter coping with being on tour?"
"its tough but shes getting used to it. she misses you guys a lot." they smiled at that, "we miss her too." all 3 of them said in perfect sync.
"actually i have a surprise for her for her birthday in a couple weeks..." all 3 of them seemed to lean forward at that as i smirked, "ill text it to you. she gets off stage here in a minute." they nodded understanding.
"well ill let you go. keep my little girl happy. tell her to call me tomorrow." i nodded, "i will sir."
"and Liam. thank you. i havent seen her this happy in awhile." i nodded, "no problem sir. i havent been this happy with anyone." he smiled at that, "good it means you'll continue to make her happy. has she told you about her scars?"
i nodded, "yeah she told me a couple days ago. pissed me off that those guys did that to her, but i made sure she knew i wasnt gonna pressure her or leave her because of those scars. scars dont present anything, it just shows how strong the person is to wear those scars everyday and not give up."
her father seemed to like my words as he nodded, "just keep her happy. she's all i got." i nodded, "ill keep her happy and safe sir." he nodded as we bid goodbyes to each other. i quickly gave Hope Venus's phone as Venus instantly ran past us and into the changing room.
Hope followed behind and snuck in just before the door closed. Venus came out in a teal tank top type shirt, shorts, fishnet leggings under the shorts, a black leather jacket and a studded bra under her shirt, she also had heeled boots on. all in all she looked badass.
