ARC 1: Demon Mode

~Diane's POV~

After that weird confrontation with Liz and the principal, before we could speak to either of them, they go off together, just them two. I'm about to chase after them, but Gowther and Elaine stop me.

"You musn't go." Elaine said, quietly, almost a whisper.

"Why??!!" I ask, trying to wriggle out of their grasp.

"Because the captain promised Elizabeth to be alone with her for the day. I didn't read the rest."

"Well, I did...but I don't think I can tell you guys." Elaine says, pain slipping out her voice. Can it be this bad?

"So be it. Elizabeth will probably tell me soon anyways." I say, and we all head to class.

Instead of Elizabeth sitting next to me in English, she sits next to Meliodas. It was a movie day today. I didn't mind it if it were for one day only, I understand lovers need their space.

I say lovers because they clearly act like it. I can't believe they grew such a big bong over a small space of time.

After around 10 minutes of the movie, I glance over to them. I see Elizabeth sleeping, her head on Meliodas's lap. He's stroking her gently, but not like a dog. It looks...soothing? Like a couple would do?

Meliodas notices me glancing. I give him a confused look before going back to the movie. By this point, me and Elaine are sat by each other, whilst Ban and King are also sat together. Gowther is sat with Merlin and Escanor, and I already told you about the othet two.

~Meliodas's POV~

Once the movie is over, I see most of the sins looking towards us again. I give them the look that tells them "I'll tell you later." I'll ask Elizabeth first though.

"Wake up, sleeping beauty" I whisper in her ear, before stroking her gently again.

She slightly opens her eyes, before realising it's me, and smiles. Her eyes immediately widen more, and she sits up, face red.

"H-how long was I asleep for??"

"Most of the movie. How does one sleep within 10 minutes?" I ask, jokingly.

"I'm a lazy slob." she says, looking down, almost as if she's disappointed.

I put my hand on her chin, and lift her face up, lightly.

"It's cute. Everything about you is.." I mumble, but loud enough so she can hear.

She blushes, and before we could get further with our interaction, the sins walk up to us.

"I get yall need to flirt and everything but you've been avoiding us forever." Ban says, smirking at us, before giving us his serious eyes.

I give Elizabeth the look that asks if it's okay to tell them. She catches on, and responds with a nod.

Bit by bit, we tell them the story.

"THOSE BASTARDS. I'LL END THEM." Ban screams, angrily.

"End who, exactly?" we hear a familiar, snobby voice say. None other than Liz. This time, it's with her best friends, Zaneri and Jenna.

"You, duh." King says, sighing afterwards in annoyance.

"Meliodas, my future-husband, would not appreciate that- ELIZABETH. What did your father tell you?" Liz says, angrily, but the fakest emotions I've ever seen.

Elizabeth just looks down, as if she's given up. She looks really upset, and she starts breaking down into tears.

I can't stand this anymore. I can't stand her being upset, she doesn't deserve it.

I'm about to go demon mode, uncontrollably. When I saw Liz making the slightest physical contact with Elizabeth, that's when I struck.

"Leave my girl alone, NOW." I say, demandingly. I hate being in demon mode but Liz is asking for it so badly, by hurting her. I don't know why I said "My Girl"..but it's not like I mind.

Jenna and Zaneri make a run for it.

"JENNA? ZANERI? WHAT THE HELL??!" Liz asks, scared. She shivers, before picking up her bag, running to go find them.

I turn back to normal. And I walk off....
