ARC 1 (FINALE PART 1): An Apology?

~Liz's POV~

Meliodas never did that with me. He must really like Elizabeth. I'm starting to have second thoughts on this.

I don't even love him. My parents promised me and Elizabeth's father good money, but now I see money isn't the solution for everything.

I see Meliodas walking alone, so I walk up to him. Not annoying him this time, though. What he did was scary...everyone could sense his aura..

He notices me walking up to him, and stops, aggresively.

"What do you want now?" he says, sighing afterwards.

"I want to...apologize. And explain.." I say, in an honest tone.

"Wh-"

"I never really liked you in that way. My parents offered me and Elizabeth's father good money for this. The money was going to be important for me for future ambitions, but money doesn't solve anything. Back there, when you protected her, I realise it was my time to stop-"

"Liz. I respect your apology. But it's not me you should apologize to. Elizabeth is very hurt by what has happened, that's the only thing that stings like a fucker, seeing her upset."

"Meliodas, before I do that..do you love Elizabeth? It seems like you do, but at the same time nobody can admit it."
He goes 50 shades of red at that question, of course he does.

He stays silent, so I smirk.

"Of course you do. Yall are cute, I ship it. I'll go apologize to your princess now, again sorry for everything!" I scream, whilst running to find Elizabeth.

~Meliodas's POV~

Now that Liz is sorted, all I need to do now is talk to her father. I think it'd be better if I do it myself.

When Liz asked me if I had feelings for Elizabeth, I didn't know how to respond. My face heats up at the thought of me and Elizabeth.

I feel bad from walking away from Elizabeth crying, but it's time to put an end to this.

I knock on the door, and hear a simple "Come in!" I open the door to the sight of Mr Liones sipping his coffee, whilst spinning on his office chair.

"Ah, Meliodas! What brings you here? Did you finally-"

"Don't worry sir, I know everything. Liz told me it all. Now, it's time to talk.." I say, with my serious eyes.

He gulps, then nods quickly.

"Alright. I get you were being paid, but being paid to hurt your own daughter? No. I wasn't hurt by any of this, it just sucks to see the person you care for most hurt lots."

He sighs. "Okay, you win. I don't know how I'll apologize to her, though. I love her so much as a daughter.."

"Don't worry, old man. She'll accept an apology any day, she's a little too forgiving.." I chuckle, then give him a little grin afterwards.

"Ah, she is a softie isn't she. But that's what we like about her."

"Hell yeah!" I say, preaching to that.

~Elizabeth's POV~

I can't believe...Meliodas just..walked off. Not comforting me. He's not my boyfriend or anything, so maybe this is just my high expectations.

The rest of the sins look shocked, aswell.

"He's never done THAT over a girl.." Gowther says. Even Gowther seems worried.

I just simply cry, I need him. I need him to comfort me, like he always did. I always felt so safe around him.

No. I need to get it together. My high expectations deserve a slap.

"I can't believe he just left you in that state, princess. I'll go look for him.." Ban says, pissed off. He runs off somewhere, before anyone could stop him.

"Cmon Elizabeth, I'll treat you to some McDonalds. You always love that.."

Somehow I wasn't in the mood for McDonalds. Weird, since I said I wad always in the mood.

"No. I don't want McDonalds.." I say, tears still escaping my eyes.

We see none other than Liz walk up to us, again. I'm scared. Meliodas isn't here this time.

Before she could say anything, King and Diane intervene.

"GET AWAY FROM OUR FRIEND." Diane screams.

"Wait..guys...I'm not here for that..." Liz says. She seems..genuinely guilty?

"Someone got better at acting.." Merlin says, rolling her eyes.

"Guys, let her explain..." I say. They look at me shocked.

"But..princess, she hurt you bad.." Escanor said, concern in his voice.

"Yeah, why are you-" I interrupt Elaine.

"Because EVERYONE deserves a second chance." I say, smiling at Liz. Liz smiles back, with tears escaping her eyes. She hugs me..I hug her back.

"Elizabeth, I'm sorry. I should have realized how strong you and Meliodas's relationship is...and it's not your father, either. My parents paid us a lot of money to do this, but now I realise money isn't key to happiness.."

"It's okay, Liz. We all make mistakes." I say, still hugging her. We then release.

"Yeah, but the captain literally walked away after, not comforting her. Are we not gonna address that??" King asks, seeming annoyed.

"Oh, don't worry. He didn't ditch you guys..he's off doing something to stop this mess. I tried to apologize to him, but he accepted as long as you're happy, Elizabeth."

This made me blush. He's going out of his way..to stop a pathetic girl like me? Now I feel REALLY bad for my thoughts...

~Ban's POV~

I see the captain walk out of the principal's office...with a SMILE? He's just gonna stand there smiling like it's nothing to ditch a girl he most likely has feelings for??

"Oh, hey Ban!" he says, cheery.

"Don't do that now. Why the fuck did you ditch princess? She was crying for ages, she probably wanted you, dammit. She wouldn't even go to McDonalds.."

"I know. I feel bad...but the truth is, I was talking to her father, and I've fixed it all now. She won't be upset over Liz or her father now." he says, smiling.

"Oh...dang it. Sorry for getting pissed off, let's go. The princess is probably dying to hug you." I say, giving him a nudge and a smirk.

"Shut upp." he says, blushing like a maniac.

"Okay, let's really get going, cmon cap. Let's go see your girl!"

Bing bong. Dw guys this isnt the end of the story theres still so much more to come for their adventure, this is just the beginning!
