ARC 3: Revenge Strikes

~Zaneri's POV~

"I don't care if it takes all your energy away Jenna, I NEED this completed. Those sins...especially Meliodas, Diane, and Elizabeth...they deserve to SUFFER."

"Okay, calm down, Zaneri. Revenge has been placed, all we have to do is wait...sit and relax."

"Okay....okay....." I say, sighing of relief.

They deserve all this pain.

~Liz's POV~

I wake up. Well, not wake up. It's sort of hard to describe really. It's like I had a massive daydream, except it's all real and I had no idea what happened or what I was doing.

So now, I'm stuck in surrounded roads, covered in rain. The last thing I remember was being at Elizabeth's sleepover. Weird...did it end early??

I decide to call Elizabeth. But it's not her who picks up. It's....the captain....

"Hello??" I ask, politely through the phone.

"What the fuck are you doing calling her now, Liz???"

"H-huh?? Why are you upset?? Did something ha-" but it's too late. He interrupts me.

"Whatever. I'm not in the mood for your games. Bye." and with that, he quickly ends the call.

There was only one option. Running home as fast as possible to my home. Maybe at school we could all resolve this.

~Meliodas's POV~

What the actual fuck was she thinking?? Doing all of this??

It gets me so pissed off at how many people want to interfere with mine and El's relationship. I get they're jealous of my sexy future-wife, but damn, there's a line they're crossing.

And then, how dare she call us pretending nothing happened? Calm down, Meliodas. Think, okay?

"M-Maybe we should all get some rest...and figure this out tomorrow...??" Elizabeth asked us all, as we nod in agreement.

As we all part ways into different rooms (Yes, her house is MASSIVE), I could tell El was just as confused as the rest of us.

"Hey, it's okay, we'll all figure it out tomorrow. Maybe this is a misunderstanding.." I say, trying to calm her down, making sure she does not get upset.

She only nods before I bring her in for a relaxed cuddle.

Tomorrow's another day..

~Timeskip: The next morning~

I woke up to the birds chirping, Elizabeth's head resting on my chest, as she cuddles into me, whilst I have my arms around her. The best feeling to wake up to, try and prove me wrong.

I check the time. 6:30am...better wake her up... I think, with a sigh. I slightly tap her on the head, with a few attempts, until her eyes start to flicker.

When her eyes are fully open, she starts rubbing them tiredly, letting out her morning yawn, which I thought was very soft and cute.

"Did you enjoy your sleep, my lover??" I ask, teasingly, smirking afterwards. She nods tiredly, which makes me giggle.

"You know, it's cute when you're tired. Why you always so damn cute for??" I ask, with a playful pout, as she rubs her hand against my hair jokingly, but it actually felt very good.

"Do that moreeee!!" I demand, when she stops, but pouting. She shakes her head in refusal, her turn to giggle afterwards.

"We've gotta get ready" she reminds me, as we sluggishly step out of bed.

"I'll go get the others up" she quickly says, running to their room as if it's the end of the world if we're late. Classic Ellie.

"Don't run!!" I exclaim, calling after her.

I never got a response.

Until a scream escaped the bedroom door from one of the other rooms...

No, no, no, I don't wanna lose her...

Again, sorry for a short chapter. There's another one coming today, along with updates for "A promise." We're slowly getting there with the schedule 😂
