When Ha Na first step down at the land of down under, it's like a breath of new air. Everything seems like a fresh chapter, whether it's communication, faces and feelings.

Ha Na wasn't a person who love challenges, she prefers to ride a canoe in a pond rather than stream. However, under the circumstances she chooses, Ha Na has to paddle through the ocean of uncertainties, dealing with loneliness and fear of unfamiliarity. Time where she got hungry, the image of Mrs Kim's pipping hot Kimchi soup serve in the stone bowl came to her mind, which did not help, it makes her stomach grumble and curse at her stupidity. Sometimes she wonder if she has taken the extreme step just to discover herself, like how people dive into medical career after watching Grey's Anatomy.

And end up drowning.

The fear of taking a new language, a different educational environment, learning the route of transportation, which she did took the wrong train home and had to travel another hour just to get back to her intended destination. Albeit the mistake, she learnt.

The journey of this part of her life came with full of surprise. Both the sweet dreams and nightmare. Ha Na wonders how Tony made it to independence for his last ten years in the States and landed with such successful career alongside with the President of the United States.

Times like this, she struggled with throwing all her miseries at Mrs Kim, instead, she mastered the skill of poker face again, pretending to be strong and mature. Deep inside, a whole wrath of tears is threatening to pour out after Ha Na ends the call with Mrs Kim.

The first few weeks of her adaptation, Tony watches his phone all the time, he needed to know if she is safe, if she is homed, if she has eaten and everything. But he resists using the words of endearment, in case it makes her weak. He knew the struggle that comes along with living alone in a whole new world.

He was proud of her somehow, she survived the first six months. Tony doesn't know how to show his concern initially, afraid that Ha Na wouldn't favor it, but even when their status changes, it made them closer ironically. Ha Na shared everything with Tony, even her period pain, well, period pain is an acceptable disease to be complaining about. They haven't been to such conversations in the past. But, here, they did.

'You should be slicing it the other way,' Ha Na told Ming Ho as he slice the chicken breast, she has been waiting ages for him to get the meat done before she can tossed it down the frying pan.

'YouTube told me it can be slice in either way,' Ming Ho feigned an expression of betrayal as he defend himself.

Ha Na rolled her eyes, and force a sarcastic grin. 'If I'm fainting due to low blood sugar, I'll held you for responsible.'

'I'll just call the ambulance, sweetheart, no worries.' Min Ho assured her with a cheeky face.

'Just drop the chicken into the oil, Kang Min Ho!' Ha Na is running out of patience, she has been literally starved since the morning after rushing for two classes, now, she needed her stomach filled with whatever Min Ho promised to cook for her. Yet, the chicken is still in the freezer when she came home.

'Alright, alright, I should have made you a topokki before you head for class today, hell hath no fury...' Min Ho muttered as he scoop up the chunks of chicken and drop it on the frying pan.

'I heard that.' She volume up her reply while opening a pack of chips to control her hunger while checking her phone for any notifications, his notifications, especially.

It's three hours apart between Seoul and Sydney, he should be working now. Ha Na thought.
