I chuckled and leaned back on the head board. "Have you talked to Kirishima yet?" I asked. "Yeah, I messaged him earlier and told him that I was home and that I was fine." He said. He yawned again. "I told him he could stop by tomorrow if he wanted and he said he would." He added. His eyes were half closed and his words started mixing together. "You need sleep." I said. He shook his head. "I'm not ready to go back home yet." He said. I chuckled and crossed my arms. "You c-could st-stay here tonight." I said. He opened his eyes all the way and looked at me. "I can?" He asked. "Yeah..I-I mean if y-you want to." I said. He smiled a small smile and sat up. I stood up and went to the closet to get the extra blankets out. I laid two on the floor and grabbed a pillow. I sat down on the makeshift bed. "What're you doing?" He asked. "I'm giving you that bed." I said. He shook his head and got down on the floor. "It's your room, so you can have the bed." He said. I shook my head. "Your the guest." I said. "Technically I'd be and intruder. I did just break into your house." He said. "Your so stubborn." I said. He glared at me. "Your persistent which is annoying as hell." He said. I glared back. "My annoyingness has nothing to do with this." I said. "Oh but my stubbornness does?" He asked. "Yeah, because you won't just take the bed." I said. He crossed his arms and glared at me again. We stayed like for a while, just glaring at each other. I sighed and thought of something else. "Fine! We'll both take the bed." I said. I stood up and so did he. "It'd be a lot simpler if you'd have just took the bed." I said and picked up the blankets and put them back in the closet. He sat on the edge of the bed with the cocky smirk of his. I looked at what he wearing, he had on jogging pants and my hoodie. I smiled when I saw that he still had it. "Alright let's lay down." I said. He took the hoodie off and folded it and put it on the nightstand. He had a gray tank top on. He slid his shoes and socks off (a/n because only weirdos sleep with socks on😂) and laid down on the bed. I turned the light off and laid down beside him. It was really hard for me to even try to sleep with him this close to me. I was laying on my back just staring at the ceiling. Kacchan was stirring, he rolled over and threw his arm around me. My eyes widen and I tensed up. I soon relaxed and rolled over and put my arm around him and pulled him closer to my chest. "De...Izuku..." He whispered. "Yes Kacchan?" I whispered. "I...thank you." He said. "I already told you not to thank me. I'm doing this because I want to not because I have to." I said. He moved his hand to my chest. "Kacchan....do you want to talk about what happened to you?" I asked. He gripped my shirt in his hand and held it tightly. I didn't get any answer, but I don't want to push him. "The....the guy with the hands.....he...he was the worst one.....he would come in during the day and he'd torture me. He put this thing on my head and.....whenever he'd press a certain button it would.....shock me badly. They made me go days without eating. There was this other guy would..." He started to shake and he tightened his grip on my shirt. I rubbed his back and petted his hair. Whatever this guy did it was pretty awful. "He would.......make different copies that looked like.......you." He said. I furrowed my brows. Why would that bother him?  "He would make a new copy everyday and they.....they killed the copy in many different...horrific ways....." He said. That's why he's been feeling my heart beat and why he's been so close to me. "The first day this guy with.....flames....Dabi I think was his name. He.....he burnt you to nothing but dust. I was forced to watch everything they did to you..tied up...helpless......the last day the guy with hands......denigrated you...." He said. He was sobbing and holding me tighter. "You don't have to say anymore if you don't want to. We have all the time in the world to talk." I said. He put one hand around me and hugged me tight and the other on my chest. He put his face in the crook of my neck and cried. I rubbed his back and petted his hair. "It's okay. I'm okay. Your safe now....I'm here I won't let them take you again." I whispered in his ear. He eventually calmed down and went to sleep. I went to sleep with him in my arms and listening to his breathing.
I woke up the next morning Kacchan was still asleep, so I couldn't really move, not that I wanted to. Our legs were tangled together and our arms still around each other. This is a dream come true. He looks so at peace asleep. I smiled and moved his hair out of his face. His eyes fluttered opened and his, tired, crimson eyes stared into mine. "Good morning Kacchan." I said with a smile. He put his hand on my face and groaned. "Morning." He said as he moved his hand and stretched. We were still tangled up, but neither one of seemed to mind. "I'm still sleepy as hell." He said. I giggled and poked his nose. "Then go back to sleep." I said. He shook his head. "I should probably be heading home soon anyway." He said, but he made no sign of moving. "Your mom is going to be mad at you." I said. He shrugged his shoulders and yawned. "Wouldn't be the first time and it sure as hell won't be the last." He said. I laughed and flopped back down.
