REGRET

Y/N POV

"Jeon!" I shouted. He turns around, a smile forming from his lips. "Y/N!" He waves at me. I jogged to him, bringing him to a big hug.

"I missed you~" I giggled. "Me too." He says. "So, how's studies?" I asked him. "Well you know still hard, I'm barely even passing the exams." He chuckles.

"Don't worry you'll be doing just fine!" I cheered him. He laughs, pinching my cheeks. "You're adorable." He smiles.

My cheeks turned to a cherry red tint. "Love you." I said. He hums, nodding his head, "I know."

Me and Jungkook went to our apartment. I unlocked the door, opening it. Jungkook follows me but his gaze was outside. "What is it?" I asked. "O-oh, nothing."

"Okie." I shrugged.

Jungkook POV

I saw her.

She was outside.

But then Y/N spoke.

"What is it?" She asks a concerned look on her face. "O-oh, nothing." I stuttered.

"Okie." She grins, then she went upstairs.

I sighed, finally closing the door. I sat down, on the couch my heart crumbling.

You're using her.

My mind says. I shook my head, gripping my hair.

"N-no."

Tears form my eyes but I quickly wiped it.

Me and Y/N started to date when me and my ex-girlfriend broke up. I wanted to make my ex jealous so I dated Y/N. Back then, rumors was building that Y/N liked me so I dated her. But when I noticed that my ex seemed unbothered, I wanted to stop.

But I fell for her.

Hard.

And now I can't let her know the true reasons why I dated her or else she'll leave me.

"Jungkook!" I hear her call me. I quickly wiped my tears, rushing upstairs.

"Yeah?" I asked her. Then I saw her holding a box, a huge smile on her face. "Since we haven't seen each other for a long time, so I made a present for you!" She giggles. My heart skipped a beat, I whole spirit filled with happiness.

She hands me the box, as I carefully take it from her. "Y-Y/N, you should've told me! So that I could get you a gift too!" I scolded her. She giggles, "just open it!"

I opened the box, then my eyes started to water.

I love you.

Those three words were written on the box, then is was filled with letters and hearts. It also had a shirt in it.

"You said you wanted that shirt, so I got it for you!" She grins. "B-But, Y/N that cost a lot!" I widened my eyes.

"I know, but I saved for it. I had to do the night shift for that shirt!" She pinches my cheeks.

I put the box down, hugging her. I buried my head in her neck, her sweet smell coming in contact with my nose.

"Please never leave me." I cried. "You're the only person I want to be with forever, please don't leave me."

She smiles, hugging me back. "Of course, I promise."

n e x t d a y . . .

Y/N POV

I woke up early since I wanted to make breakfast for us. While I went downstairs, I saw Jungkook's phone lying on the sofa.

Me being the good girlfriend, I went and grab it. I took out the charger and charged it. But when I was plugging the wire, his phone started to ring.

I didn't want to wake Jungkook up from his sleep, so I answered it.

"He—"

"Jungkook! I needed to talk to you! I saw your ex just a while ago, she already has a boyfriend. I think you should just give up in making her jealous. She doesn't even care at this point. You can leave you 'girlfriend' now."

The man laughs.

"I know you don't love her, you just wanted your ex to get jealous, right? So just update me if you break up with her okay? See ya!"

The he ended the call.

Tears form my eyes, dropping the phone. Just then, I heard foot steps.

"Y/N baby~" he calls. I wiped my tears, facing him. He smiles at me while I keep my face cold.

"Y/N? You okay?" He asks, walking towards me. "Baby—"

Slap.

Jungkook eyes widen, as my hand came in contact with his cheek.

"Y-You used me!" I shouted. My eyes water once again. "You used me for your own benefit! You never loved me!" I screamed at him.

He looks at me with pure worry. "Y/N what are you talk—"

"Oh stop it! Stop! Just stop! Don't even fake that your worrying for me!" I shouted, tears continuously falling.

"You just dated me to make your ex jealous! Really!? Just for that you used me!?"

3RD PERSON'S POV

Jungkook's eyes started to water. "W-what?" Jungkook stuttered.

"I know everything now, I know everything you kept secret." Y/N whimpers.

She drops on the floor, hugging her knees. "H-How could you do this to m-me." She cried.

Jungkook's heart broke just the sight of her crying. He immediately hugs her crying form.

"Baby, no. Please, listen to me." He cried. Y/N shakes her head, pushing the crying boy away.

"Is it true?" Y/N asks. Her eyes looked deeply to his. "Y-Yes but—"

Jungkook got interrupted when Y/N cried again. "Baby, please don't cry. It hurts me." Jungkook sobs.

"Baby." Jungkook cups Y/N's cheeks. "Yes it's true but I love you! I love you so much, it's crazy."

He says, but Y/N only shakes her head. "N-No, look at me. Baby, I love you. Yes at first I only wanted her to be jealous b-but I fell for you." Jungkook sniffles.

"I fell for you, and I fell in love." Jungkook says, but Y/N was still crying.

"Baby, please don't leave me." Jungkook cries. "Please, don't. You promised me." Jungkook shakes his head.

"Y-You can't leave me. I'll go crazy without you."
