Shiro was finally enjoying himself. He had been in London for two weeks now, and nothing exciting had happened at all. When his manager urged him that he should build in a career outside Japan, Shiro wasn't sure it was a good idea. His career back home in Japan was going great. He was constantly getting new job offers and he was famous, not just as a singer, but as an actor as well. But the next step to secure his place as a world celebrity was to get into the European market, later the American. In Europe, he had a contract with K-records, but two days after Shiro got to London, a record company called Blue Haven Records bought the company, and when Shiro learned about it, he felt he had no idea what would happen to his career.
While waiting for something to happen, his manager Deion had suggested they should go to a social gathering for some of the world largest record labels, and make some connections. Bit Shiro had hesitated. He didn't really want to go. He'd been waiting for two weeks to start working and now he had lost his patience and just wanted to go home to Tokyo, to his beloved Ikumi. But as Deion had said, Shiro's career had to grow. Asia was no longer enough. So he had to endure for a while longer.
The party had been promising at first. There were artists from all over the world and plenty of representatives for different record label giants. But after a while, Shiro just wanted to get away from there. For hours he mingled, with a false smile on his lips, and for every second he was there, Shiro got angrier. There were so many creepy alphas that thought that Shiro was the kind of omega that was so desperate to get a contract that they would sell their body. Shiro wasn't like that. He never was and never would be. Shiro was fed up and were just about to tell Deion that he wanted to go back to the hotel when he recalled what one of the make-up artists he had worked with back home had told Shiro. There was a popular club in Soho, where alphas, betas, and omegas gathered and partied together. Shiro had immediately become interested and wanted to see the place. There were no such clubs in Tokyo, nor in all of Japan, and Shiro wanted to go. He was desperate to have some fun. Deion had agreed to take Shiro there, and when they got to the place, the young man hadn't been disappointed. The club was huge, the music that played was great, and it was exciting to see how people of all genders could party together. Usually, omega's tried to stay from clubs like these, scared of an alpha losing control. But Shiro knew that every guard carried suppressant, both pills and syringes just in case of an omega's heat started or an alpha going into a rut. And Deion was with him, so Shiro wasn't scared.
Shiro saw a lot of sexy men and women, but he wasn't interested in getting together with anyone. Just the thought of some other than Kei touching him made Shiro feel squeamish, and he gently touched the skin over his scent glands, the place where Kei's bonding mark had once been. But it had disappeared long ago, and Shiro's heart ached from the memory of his late husband.
Deion sat down next to the twenty-seven-year-old man and gave him a glass of ice water. Shiro didn't drink alcohol, nor did he take any drugs, which Deion was thankful for. It made his work as a manager a lot easier. Shiro looked at the dance floor with a calm expression and listened quietly to the music. He tried not to think about anything special when he noticed a very tall man who came up on the dance floor and started dancing with a group of people he seemed to know. The man, for some reason, caught Shiro's attention, and he looked at him with interest. The man's short hair was dark blond, and he had a big smile on his lips. Everything about him screamed alpha and that he was Big Money. His body, his clothes, even his hairstyle, but that warm smile made him appear as a happy and kind-hearted person. Shiro liked that smile.
*Ba-Dump* Shiro froze. Did his heart actually do that?
Shiro was a meticulous person. He kept track of his heat periods without fault, and he knew precisely when it was coming, Shiro had several heat partners helping him, and everyone on his crew had the date written in their calendar. So, when Shiro suddenly felt feverish and uneasy in his body, he immediately understood what was happening. Shiro just didn't understand why.
He patted Deion's legs and said out loud:
"I'm not feeling well. I think my heat is on the way."
Deion looked surprised but nodded and stood straight up. The bodyguards answered immediately and stood next to the sofa.
When Shiro got up, he suddenly got dizzy, and everything around him turned. He fell down on the couch again.
"It's starting," Shiro said with a gasp.
His breathing was heavy as if he had just run a long distance. Deion stared at Shiro in disbelief.
"For real?"
Shiro nodded and looked at Deion with feverish eyes.
"Yes, for real."
It did not come slowly, as usual, this time. Instead, the heat almost exploded in Shiro's body. Suddenly he felt that familiar feeling of lust he experienced once a month, but this was stronger than usual. He wanted sex. No, he needed sex. He already felt that it was wet in his boxes from the slick, and his member was hard.
Shiro looked up, and that's when he saw that Prime Alpha. He looked directly at him with bright yellow eyes, and he radiated such immense power that it caused Shiro to groan, and he shivered with pleasure and anticipation. Shiro felt such desperate longing to have that man touch him, to become his.
Shiro wanted that alpha, he wanted his cock in him. Shiro wanted the man to push him down and mark him. He wanted him to make him his mate. That was all he could think of, all other thoughts, all reason had disappeared completely.
Shiro's pheromones filled the room and blended with the dominant, overpowering scent of the alpha's pheromones. It was a warm aromatic scent that reminded him of sandalwood and cedar. The alpha's scent hit Shiro right to the core and made him feel warm and safe.
Shiro didn't hear the screams from the omega's around him, nor did he notice how the other alpha's in the room were growling and ready to attack. Shiro didn't care at all when Deion stood in front of him as if to protect him.
Deion, who was closest to Shiro, was noticeably affected by the alluring hormones of the omega's heat. He was sexually aroused, but the dominant aura of the Prime Alpha kept him from attacking the omega. He couldn't show the tall man his back. He knew he would be jumped the second he showed weakness.
A man walked up to the alpha, talked to him, touched him, and Shiro jerked. It was his alpha! Nobody could be near his alpha. The omega stared into the alpha's yellow eyes, and when suddenly the man screamed 'Mine!' and rushed towards him, Shiro felt such extreme joy and desire.
But before the man could reach all the way to Shiro, he was suddenly tackled by three black-clad guards. Shiro screamed in protest and tried to get up, his alpha needed him, but his legs were so weak from the heat that he fell to the floor. He saw the man getting wrestled down by the men, and they were holding a syringe. At the same time, Shiro's bodyguards ran up to him, and when the needle with the suppressants got injected into his leg, it didn't take long before the heat calmed down, and Shiro passed out from the exhaustion.
But while Shiro was unconscious, he could only think of that man. And he had never felt as safe as he did then.
