Shiro woke up, and he thought that he had never felt as sick as now. His head throbbed, his body felt hot, and it felt like he would throw up any second. Shiro lay in his bed, and Deion sat on a chair next to him. When the manager noticed that Shiro had woken up, he got up and went over to the bed. His dark eyes were full of worry.

"How are you, Shiro?"

The twenty-eight-year-old man sat up; he was tired. He held his hand to

his head and whispered with a sore throat.

"Headache."

Deion quickly ran to the bathroom, poured water into a glass, and gave it to Shiro and some painkillers. Shiro swallowed the pills with the water and closed his eyes, his back against the fluffy pillows.

"What the hell happened yesterday?" he murmured.

"You went into your heat. I've never seen anything like it. Your pheromones were crazy strong, like out of control, and it made a Prime Alpha react. Damn, I have only heard about reactions like that, but that was insane!" Deion said with his strong Detroit accent.

Shiro jerked. A Prime Alpha! That tall man with a big smile. Shiro remembered him.

"Shiro, listen to me now, and please don't freak out. A doctor was there and examined both of you after you passed out from the suppressants the guards gave you. That guy is your fated pair."

Shiro just stared at his manager, shocked.

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"I know, it's fucked up, but that's why your heat started, and he went into a rut. Do you understand what this means?"

"So what? That doesn't mean shit. I'm not interested in some fated pair."

Deion looked really sad, shook his head, and retrieved his cell phone. Shiro, annoyed, observed while the older man did something until Deion handed over his cell phone. While Shiro began to read with growing terror, Deion talked.

"Several newspapers have written similar articles, both English and Asian. My phone has been ringing non-stop since the first article was published."

Shiro stared at the cell phone, his heart pounding with panic. There was a picture of himself and one with the alpha, whom, according to the article, was called Dorian McCallister. Apparently, he was the CEO of one of Europe's fastest-growing record labels and came from one of England's wealthiest families. The article addressed the incident and how the alpha's androstenone even affected people outside the club.

"Yes, and so what? What does it matter if we are a fated pair? Why do they write an article about something like that? This is ridiculous!"

Shiro handed over the cell phone to his manager. He didn't want to read anymore. This was clearly exaggerated. But Deion stared at Shiro as if he thought the black-haired man was out of his mind.

"You know how rarely fated pairs come, and you are also two famous people. And he is already married and has two kids! This is pure gold for every news site and celebrity blogger."

What Deion just had said made Shiro jolt. The alpha was married! How could he be married? That wasn't right! A feeling of jealousy struck, which surprised him and which the long-haired man immediately tried to ignore.

"Well, there you go! I have no interest whatsoever in destroying anyone's family. I will never see him again, and that's enough about this."

"You really don't know who Dorian McCallister is?"
