Dear Edith,
So I did it. I plucked up my courage and asked you out. But this time not for one of our weekly coffee 'meet ups', but an actual date. I think it was one of the scariest things I've ever done, and I've fought Voldemort. Not that you'd know who that is or anything.
You said yes. So now, as of the 29th November 1999, I have a date with you, Edith Harrington, a muggle secondary school teacher from London. It seems surreal just writing that. I'm such a bumbling mess that I don't know what to do with myself; pacing around my flat in a frazzled state seems like a rather good idea. Oh hell, I'm such a loser, just reading that sentence back makes me wonder why you agreed to go out with me. I promise you're not under the Imperius Curse!
But regardless, I promised I would pick you up at seven, so technically I now have an address to send these letters to. But I won't. I want to keep theses letters to myself, you'd probably cancel our date if you ever found these. But I'll keep writing them; they're my coping mechanism and so are you.
