Dear Edith,
We had our first fight today.
I think you finally snapped over the fact that you know nothing about me. It all started after I'd had a nightmare and I wouldn't tell you what it was about. You can tell something is haunting me, you're clever like that, but I can't reveal anything and I just wish you could know why. All you want is to help me, and I love you for that, but how can you help a man who you true my know nothing about?
It hurts me to see you so upset. I would give anything to tell you everything, but I can't. Not yet. We both said some things we didn't mean, I hope you know that I would never hurt you on purpose. It's all just so complicated!
I think I'll go to the local Tesco's and buy you some flowers to apologise. I know forgiveness can't be bought, but I think a loving gesture is a start. I would give anything to explain things to you, but I guess I'll have to keep you in the dark for a while longer.
