Child Of Hell

The journey was rough and cold. My body shivered as the cold wind came in my direction. Winter is coming, and the brisk, and windy air hugged my body as soon as I stood up. I could hear the melodic sounds of the birds around me. I twirl around, gazing up at the canopy, searching for the birds that sing sweetly.

High above me, the last of the morning stars were like winking out sadly at me. After a minute, a gray, orb-white, winter moon started to rise. I sighed as I turned around and walked out. 

Sabi niya ay hintayin ko siya dito mag-isa dahil babalik din kaagad siya kasi alam niya na kapag nawala siya sandali ay aalis agad ako, which is not true at all. I've been waiting for him for too long and he's wasting my time here.

I don't have any idea where he goes but I know he was hiding something from me. Halata sa mukha niya kanina na may mali. Perhaps someone was following us?

Nang pumasok sa utak ko ang katanungan na 'yon, mabilis na naglakad agad ako para hanapin ang lalaking nagbabantay sa akin. He's my bodyguard at siguro ito yung kauna-unahang hindi niya kinapitan ang kanyang salita.

The wraith-silver disc moon were starting to hang in the lonely sky, meaning I need to go back now. A lot of people said when the moon comes in the sky, you need to go back now and stay inside. I have no idea why they said that because I am always in my house and currently under the protection of my father.

Lagi akong may bantay sa oras na aalis ako at kahit sa tapat ng aking kuwarto may nagbabantay. Is it really bad to leave me alone? I mean, they were protecting me too much.

Ang dami kong nakikita na babae sa labas na walang bantay pero ako mayroon? Ako lang ata ang may ganito. They said it was for my sake but hell yeah, I am not a kid anymore.

"Juro?" I called my bodyguard's name but no one answered as I thought. Who would answer here in the middle of the forest?

The forest was tannin-brown but I couldn't see it clearly anymore because it was starting to get dark. I must hurry up because my father will scold me.

Sa kalagitnaan ng aking paglalakad dito sa malawak na kagubatan, may narinig akong sigaw at alam kong boses ito ni Juro, walang iba kundi ang aking taga-bantay. Mabilis na tumungo ako sa kanluran dahil sigurado ako na dito nanggaling ang boses na iyon.

Wala pang limang minuto ay nakarating agad ako sa lugar kung saan nandito ang aking bantay, at kasalukuyan na nakikipaglaban gamit ang kanyang katana.

"Juro?!" I called out as I saw his situation right now. He was currently sitting on the ground with his back on the tree. But what caught my attention was his clothes that soaking in scarlet and fresh blood.

I was about to run towards him when he shouted suddenly. "Stay away, Hime!" Because of his sudden replied to me, I stopped immediately.

"W-What happened?" I asked nervously because I felt like something is wrong. I started to shiver because of the fear, nervousness and his situation right now. Blood is my weakness.

"You must return, Hime, or otherwise you father will be killed!" There was a strong and certain in his voice that made me surprised.

Nanlaki ang aking mata sa sinabi niya at ramdam ko ang panghihina ng aking tuhod. I don't know if he was saying the truth but I started to get scared as I saw his serious face.

Ang isipan ko ay unti-unti napuno ng mga katanungan na hindi ko alam ang mga kasagutan. My father will be killed? By whom? Bakit papatayin nila? What is their reason?

What's happening right now?

"Hime, you must go now. I can take care of myself. Hurry up!" I looked at him for a few seconds. I will leave him with his current situation to go back in our home and find my father?

I stared at his serious face with his eyes that currently looking mine. Punong-puno nang pagkaseryoso ang kanyang mata at alam kong kapag ganito siya, hindi ko pwedeng tanggihan ang sasabihin niya.

Huminga ako nang malalim bago ako tumango sa kanya na nagpaguhit nang malungkot sa kanyang mukha.

I respect him to the point I will leave here alone even though he's so injured. I know he can take care of himself and he knows that my family is more important than him. Napamahal na rin siya sa pamilya namin kaya hindi ko maitatanggi na ayaw ko siya iwan pero kailangan.

"Okay, I trust you. Promise me, you will back." I replied to him and his lips curved, making him to smiled at me. 

"Once you save your father, meet me in Kage Mountain. But if I couldn't make it, you would find a house there and I know they will protect you more than I can." I nodded my head and gave him a smile.

"I will go now." He smiled at me before I walked out to go back in my house and left him alone there in the middle of the forest.

I need to save my father or else... He will be killed.
