"Now you know I wouldn't summon you all here tonight without proper cause." Oswald clears his throat. "And truth be told, I'm a little wary of the activity taking place lately in Gotham streets without the bat on patrol."
"Are you serious?" Two face scoffed. "Batmans gone off the grid and you're worried?"
"Yeah, for once I'd have to agree with Harvey," Ivy smirked, "he always gets in the way of everything."
Two-face growled at Ivy but rolled his eyes and decided to keep his remarks to himself.
"Well, my flower, you see, I noticed some unusual activity." Oswald continued as a few images were projected behind him. They were of a large white truck.
Frost looked over at his boss with furrowed brows. Joker focused his eyes on the image as well.
Penguin continued.
"These armored vehicles have been seen all week parading around the streets of Gotham. I noticed them every night, and the first couple of nights I thought nothing of them. But they are mostly being driven through distinct territories at around midnight. One of my men tried to confront the driver but when he opened the door to the drivers side, there was no one there. They either made a clean escape or the truck itself was being driven remotely. We have yet to figure out exactly which.""Remotely?" Ivy asked with a more concerned tone.
Joker looked up at Frost, who returned the glance.
"Yes, but the real question is, what are the contents of the truck?" Penguin continued. "And luckily, my rose, I have intelligence in the military who was able to get me a picture or two."With that, Oswald displayed the same picture the Suicide Squad has acquired. The piles and piles of voodoo dolls spilling out of the truck.
"What the fuck." Two-face bit almost sounding horrified. "Voodoo dolls."
"Precisely. Now, we know how it goes with voodoo dolls, we know how they're often used or desired to be used. The question is, who and why." Oswald explained.
Frost cleared his throat but Joker narrowed his eyes at him as if telling him to keep quiet.
"Well, whoever it is, its safe to say it's none of us here...right?" The riddler asked almost with a bit of uncertainty. Everyone looked briefly at one another, but the riddler and Oswald both focused heavily on the joker, who grinned at the realization of their looks.
"Ahahaa, if you two have something to say..."
"Well, clowns and voodoo dolls...you know the creepiness factor just about sums it up." The riddler said with a scoff.
"Oh riddles, the only reason I keep your voice box in tact is because sometimes you're pretty damn clever. This...isn't one of those times." The joker growled.
"So you're just as clueless as we are," the Penguin said as confirmation.
Ivy rolled her eyes. "Is this why you called us here, and essentially made me break off a date prematurely?"
