Two teenage boys stepped through the dark sewers below the city. Their flashlights guided them through the pitch black darkness as their footsteps echoed in the large tunnel. The Dark haired boy, known as Connor, led the way, his confidence in his steps made it seem as if he had been through these passages before and knew exactly where he was going.

"So anyways, this weird kid showed up at my house this morning. He was going on about forming a ninja team and-"

"Why are you telling me this?" Connor asked his robotic friend Beta.

"Just listen, he said he was the son of the Green Ninja, I think knows about the secret villain that's lurking around, so maybe we should listen to his idea about forming a ninja team." Beta continued.

"Why? We already have a team."

"Yeah but there are only five of us, and the number of enemies are increasing, so we'll need all the help we can get!"

"Let's not talk about this right now, we just have to get the orbs and get out of here. I've got a real bad feeling about this place."

"Well duh! It's a sewer! What makes you think the orbs are even down here? I don't remember there ever being a villain defeated in the sewer."

"He wasn't defeated in the sewers. The overlord was defeated at Borg industries, therefore the orbs should be somewhere below that and so-"

"The sewers?"

"Not exactly, I'm thinking we'll have to do a little bit of digging."

"You should've told me to bring a shovel then."

"I can literally move rock with my mind, we don't need a shovel."

"Okay yeah good-" Beta cut himself off, listening to the area surrounding him.

"Beta..? You okay?" Connor asked, slightly worried as to why his friend suddenly stopped talking.

"Did you hear that...?" Beta softly asked in reply.

Connor stopped for a moment and waited, expecting to hear a strange sound.

"I don't hear anythi-"

"SHH!"

Still no sound other than the lapping of sewage water against concrete was heard.

Connor stood impatient, waiting for his friend to finally decide that he hadn't heard anything and they could continue their search for the orbs.

But then Connor heard something strange, the sound of something swimming in the water.

Which was definitely suspicious considering it would be pretty difficult for an animal to survive in the horrible conditions of the sewerage.

The two boys looked at each other and nodded in sync, both knowing exactly what they should do.

Beta took a step back and pulled out two white coloured orbs, holding one in each hand as Connor hesitantly stepped forward, looking at the murky water below, trying to locate any sign of movement.

There was a short moment of suspenseful silence.

Then something emerged from the water and grabbed Connor by his jacket, pulling him into the water, both figures falling below the surface.

"Connor!" Beta exclaimed, rushing over to where Connor stood moments ago, desperately scanning the murky waters to try and find his best friend.

Connor soon reemerged from the sewerage, coughing as he pulled himself back up onto the concrete, completely drenched.

"Connor are you alright?!"

"Y-yeah, I'm fine.. just get ready, I think it'll come back..."

Without questioning what 'it' was, Beta nodded and prepared himself for what was about to happen.

Something jumped out of the water and landed perfectly on the concrete in front of the boys, it was obvious now that it was a girl around their age, her green and black hair tied into moon buns, which appeared to be unaffected by the water she had emerged from, she was completely dry.

"Oh you boys have some of the orbs? That means you must be looking for them too, so how about we help each other out here?" The girl spoke, her attitude and manner of speaking made it very clear to both Beta and Connor that she couldn't be trusted.

"Yeah yeah, and helping each other out includes attempting to drown us in a sewer. We know you're one of the possessed." Connor stated.

"Oh is that what you're calling us? I like it, it's cute. But anyways, I have a mission to complete, so hand over the orbs of ice. We can either do this the easy way, or the hard way."

"Top ten most cliche villain lines ever."

"Beta now is not the time," Connor scolded him, turning to the girl that stood in front of them "We aren't giving you the orbs, so if you want them you'll have to take them!"

"I was hoping you'd say that" She replied.

The girl spread her arms out to the sides, a green liquid forming in the palms of her hands. Beta and Connor prepared themselves for battle, knowing that green liquid certainly wouldn't be a good thing.

The girl threw the liquid at the boys and they both quickly dodged it, not knowing if the liquid had any dangerous effects, which was lucky because when the liquid collided with the wall behind them it began eating away at the concrete with a sizzling sound, the boys now realised that the liquids the girl was throwing at them was pure acid.

Connor seemed to almost immediately have a plan in mind.

"Beta! She draws her power from the water! Freeze it!"

Beta nodded in reply and activated the two orbs he held in his hands, both of them transforming into pistols with a white glow. He fired one of them towards the sewer water behind the girl, but she reached her arm out and the bullet of ice hit her arm instead, causing her forearm to become fully covered in ice.

"Did you really think I would let you freeze my source of power that easily?" The girl spoke, using the acid she could create to get rid of the ice on her arm.

Beta smirked, knowing that would be impossible for her to stop the bullets from reaching the water if he continuously fired at it. But he was wrong, as she moved her arms around, a trail of acid followed behind, catching the bullets in it and causing them to disintegrate.

Connor quickly stepped in, throwing kicks and punches at the girl, attempting to distract her. Unfortunately it wasn't working so well. While he attempted to attack the girl, some of the lingering acid would hit him, causing him to hiss at the pain. The odds didn't get much better when Beta accidentally shot him in the leg with one of his ice bullets.

"Ah! Sorry Connor!"

"Beta you idiot! Shoot somewhere where she can't reach!"

"Oh duh! Why didn't I think of that before?! I'm such an idiot!" Beta exclaimed, shooting one bullet further away from both Connor and the Acid girl.

At the same time Connor managed to push the girl into the water just as Beta took the shot, freezing the girl in the water.

There was a moment of silence as the boys processed what just happened.

"So... still not keen on getting more help?" Beta asked.

"Yeah yeah, I see your point. We'll get more help after we get these orbs."
