CHAPTER 11 - FORGOTTEN MEMORIES

Daniel finally snapped out of his frozen state and rushed over to Harmony, frantically calling out to her and hoping she would respond as he examined her for any fatal injuries

Harmony coughed a few times as her eyes opened, Daniel felt a sigh of relief escape his lips upon seeing that she was okay.

"Ugh, that hurt." She stated, "We reaaaally underestimated those guys.."

"Yeah no kidding.. Are you alright?"

"Yeah I'm fine, it's not like I was hit by a magical explosion and launched across the street." Harmony sarcastically answered.

Daniel apologised and asked her if she had any bad injuries. While in the meantime, Josh lifted himself off the ground, he looked at the others around him, all hurt from the powerful attacks they'd received. He looked back to the demons, laughing, grinning over their 'victory'. Seeing them enjoying the harm they've caused to Josh's friends, was enough to make Josh angrier than he'd ever been before.

For the first time in his whole life he actually really wanted to hurt someone.

But something happened.

Josh's anger manifested into something else.

His demon side.

He went through the exact same transformation that Lillie went through, the only difference was that as the transformation would usually occur on Lillie's left side, the transformation on Joshua took place on his right side.

But something else changed.

Daniel then noticed Josh was now standing and facing the demons with a stern look on his face. He got up and stepped over to him.

"Josh you okay? You didn't get hurt too badly did you?" He asked.

Josh turned to face Daniel, who jumped slightly upon seeing Josh's transformation.

"Josh..?"

"Oh sorry, you're little friend's taking a bit of a nap. So I'm taking over for now." 'Josh' responded, his voice was deeper and he spoke with a more serious tone.

Daniel had no idea what had happened to him, was Josh possessed? Is that why it sounded like someone else was in control of Josh's body?

Before Daniel could form a reply, Lillie came rushing over.

"Josh! You've found your demon side! See I knew it would work!" She exclaimed.

"Ah, so you're the other half.." 'Josh' muttered to himself, he looked up at the demons again, "This isn't the demon realm.. So how did these demons get here?"

"What..? Josh are you okay?" Lillie asked, confused as to why he was asking her something that he already knew.

"How. Did they. Get. Here."

"I-I summoned them!"

"Why?"

"To help me find you... and I don't know if you've noticed but that kinda backfired..."

"So they're enemies." 'Josh' stated.

Without another word, 'Josh' charged towards the demons, taking them by surprise as he attacked them by only using the strength and power of his demon side.

"What's gotten into him??" Daniel asked Lillie.

"I have no idea... it's like he just turned into a completely different person when his demon side was activated!"

"Do you think he's possessed??"

"That's impossible, if he were possessed he'd be attacking US!"
