Linda looked behind her, "Maria!" She quickly pulled up her panties and sweats.
"I see you two are busy.... Imma come back tomorrow..." Baez quickly made her way to the door.
"Great." Danny grumbled, "I'm never gonna love this one down..."
The wife looked at her knees, and, after some silence, she said, "that felt really good."
The detective looked to his wife, "yeah?"
"Better than I remembered."
"That a fact?"
"A very good fact."
Danny smirked, "that's good."
"Yes. That's a very good thing.... and I'm thinkin' that I might want more."
"That's excellent!"
Linda smiled, "you're adorable when you're excited."
He smiled and kissed her lips softly. Linda quickly wanted more, sneaking her tongue out to part Danny's lips.

Meanwhile, in another part of New York, Eddie was talking to her Sargent. "Please, Sarge?"
"I can't exactly say yes to that."
"Why not?" Eddie nearly whined, "Uh, sir?"
"Because we have no idea who they are. So how can you go under cover?"
"Because I want to get some Justice for the poor lady! Jamie, please?"
Jamie chuckled, "Eddie, I appreciate your enthusiasm, but we've got nothing. All we have is a guy and a lady who sounds familiar."
Eddie gave Jamie a look.
"Look, I know you want to get these perps because you kind of had the same experience, but you can't. What you can do, though, is help Linda. Maybe she'll feel less alone if she knows you went through something similar."
Eddie nodded, "I'll talk to her Sunday. But I still want these guys' asses."
"As we all do. But you gotta be patient."
"I am being patient... but it's taking too long."
Jamie smirked and shook his head.

"Reagan." Danny answered his phone without looking at the caller ID.
"Hey, brother," Erin's voice filtered through the phone.
"Hey, sis. What's up?"
"I've been looking through some old files, and there was a case like this back in '96."
"Wow. That far back, huh?" He handed Linda a file. They were still going through all the old files, with or without Baez. "I'm gonna put you on speaker, hold on." Danny quickly put his sister on speakerphone, "okay, sis. What's the situation?"
"Well, back in '96, two people, uh, they're names were Mike Carlson and Maryanne Wilkerson. They kidnapped a bride and made it look like it was an accident. The police never found the bride. She was declared legally dead in '99. Another case like it in Jersey in 2003."
"Copycats?" Linda wondered, looking up from the file in her hands.
"Oh, Linda. Hey, you doing okay?"
She looked at Danny slyly, "a lot better for the moment."
"Good. I'm not entirely sure if it's copycats..."
"Erin," Anthony barged in, "I found some more. '89 in Florida, '92 in Virginia, '04 in California."
"Those piss ants are really stupid, aren't they?" Danny's New York accent was very present, "how could they thing it was a good idea to do that stuff to you?"
"'Specially since I'm married to the best detective in the tristate area." Linda said seriously.
"If you two are gonna kiss, I'm gonna puke." Anthony complained.
"You're just jealous. Cause I've got the best wife ever, and you've got nobody," Danny put his arm around Linda.
"Okay, guys!" Erin spoke up, "we've got something to work from here. I've got a few favors I can cash in on. I'll get back to you." She hung up and looked at Anthony.
"What?"
"'If you two are gonna kiss, I'm gonna puke'."
"It's true. Those two are disgusting."
Erin rolled her eyes, "tell me more about those cases...."
