Halloween Special: Red

Like the other special chapters, this does not have anything to do with the main storyline. This is the only story that's going to have a special Halloween theme. So I'm sorry for not making one for the others. Anyway, onto the story.

Tyler's POV~

Halloween was just around the corner. I haven't done much the past few years when it comes to Halloween. Halloween's my favorite holiday, but I haven't put much thought into costumes. The past few years, I just stayed home and gave out candy to any trick-or-treaters. Which I'm okay with. I love seeing children smile. It makes me happy. It reminds me of myself when I was younger. I also liked looking at the creativity people put into their costumes. Or the funny ones. Either way, I love seeing people dress up. I walk into class as usual and look at the Halloween decorations set up in the room. I think back to the last time I wore a costume. If I remember correctly, I was 14 and dressed up as werewolf. I sat at my desk and stared outside the window. I look behind me when someone touches my shoulder. Of course, it's Axel. He smiles and sat next to me. "Hey, you and I should go out and dress up for Halloween." I think and say "No, I don't think so." His ears droop and he asks "But why?! I know you're into the spooky season! I see you smile over the creepiest of things! Creepypasta's, abandoned asylum videos, paranormal investigation, I know what you like!" I nod and say "Well, I haven't dressed up since I was 14. I usually went with my friends from my old neighborhood." He smiles and picks me up. "Well, you can come with me! I'll take you trick-or-treating!" I ponder it a bit and say "No. I think I'm good." He hugs me and says "Please! I promise! You'll have fun!" I struggle around and say "No. let go." He pouts and sits me back down. I then say "Even if I did go with you, what would I dress as? All the stores are sold out of costumes." He smiles and says "Trust me, I know how to get costumes. And I'll pick out something I know you'll like." I sigh and say "Yeah, I think I already know that you really mean something YOU would like." Axel chuckles and says "Yeah? And?" I roll my eyes and shake my head. He just smiles and says "I'll pick out the perfect costume for you."

A few days later...

"No!" I keep running around this maze. I should know my way around by now! "Get over here!" My breath is running out. Where should I go!? I don't know where to go! "Come back here! Now!!!" I keep running. Then I run into a random room. No where left to run! I look at the dark figure as he slowly approaches me. "Finally." He approaches me. "No where left to go. I have you cornered now." Just then, the room's light turned on. I look at the once was dark figure. I hear his mom. "If you want to play chase, don't do it in the dark! You'll get yourself hurt." I look back at him. As you probably guessed by now, it was Axel. With the white parts of his fur spray dyed gray. Wearing ripped up clothing that revealed his muscle from underneath. He looks down at me and pulls up the clothing in his hand. "Come on, Tyler! You'll look adorable!" I sighed and said "I'm not going as Little Red Riding Hood!" He just smiles and closes the door and locks it. "Come on, it's not like you have a choice. Either put it on yourself, or I'll force you to. Then we'll go trick-or-treating." I pout and say "Fine. But we're not trick-or-treating." He smiles and says "Kind of funny for someone who has a big sweet tooth." I blush and he chuckles. He leaves and locks the door. I sigh and start to change.

Axel's POV~

I wait outside for Tyler. He's going to look so, so cute in that hood! As soon as I saw the hood, I knew I had to have him wear it! It's the perfect couple's costume! The big bad wolf and Little Red Riding Hood! I think we fit the roles perfectly. As I keep dreaming of what Tyler would look like, I hear a knock on the door. I open the door and see Tyler. I blush intensely. He backs up away from me, but he doesn't make it far before he's on the floor. "YOU LOOK SO CUTE!!!!" He struggles to push me off, but I can't help myself! He's so adorable! This big bad wolf just wants to take care of him, rather than eat him! Not that I'd want to or be able to, obviously. I pick him up as I get up. I hold him like a rag doll and ask my mom "Can we keep him? Like forever?" She chuckles and walks off. I see Alex head our way and she looks at Tyler. "Well, aren't you just a cute little kid. Better watch out for the big bad wolf. He'll snatch you and keep you forever." He blushes and I chuckle, then I rub his head. "Too late. Big bad wolf already has Red. And he's going to make sure that Red is forever happy with him." He gives me a death glare and I smile. I pick him up and hug him tightly. "My cute little Red is so adorable!" She chuckles and says "Well, you'd better watch out for the hunter." I look behind me and see my sister's boyfriend. They were both going as hunters for Halloween. "We might just shoot you down and take Red back home." I pick up Tyler and say "Sorry! But Red is mine now! And forever will be!" I nuzzle into Tyler as he blushes. "Come on! Stop it! It's embarrassing." I smile and carry him out. My mom then says "Be sure to come back before 12. You don't want the big bad wolf to do anything Red, do you?" Tyler blushes redder than the hood. "No, I don't. I'll be back before 11. Promise." She chuckles and waves as I wave back. I gave Tyler his basket that went with the costume. I then say "For this costume, you carry candy in the basket. It's perfect!" He blushes and asks "Do I really have to go trick-or-treating? I mean, we're high school students, so isn't this considered childish?" I smile again and hug him close to me. "Look at Alex and her boyfriend. They're both trick-or-treating. How is it childish?" He starts to stumble on his own words. I smile and lick his cheek. "Come on, the first house is my favorite house." He looks at me and asks "Why's that?" I chuckle and say "You'll see."

Tyler's POV~

I walk up to the house with Axel by my side. It was a young couple. They look down at us and say "Awwww, it's Little Red Ride Hood!" The wife then says "And the big bad wolf!" They each pull out 4 boxes of soda. "Pick your choice. Two each." There was Mountain Due, Dr. Pepper, Coca Cola, and Fanta. Me and Axel grab our picks of soda. After that, we left and headed to the next place. Axel makes a little "Yes" sound and says "That couple let's another couple have two cans of soda each, depending on if they like the costume or not." I nod my head. We go to a few more places and get a lot of candy, and we finally make it back to his place at 11:30. Arianna, Axel's mom, says to him "What happened to '11?'" Axel rubs the back of his head and says "I was having so much fun with Red." She nods and says "Can't blame you there. Tyler looks so cute in this costume." Tyler blushes again. I pick him up and head upstairs. We eat a little bit of candy and I put our soda's in my mini fridge in my room. I stretch and Tyler starts to call his mom. As soon as she picks up, I take it from him and say "Hello? I'd like to know if Re- I mean Tyler can stay the night?" She replies and says "Yup. Just make sure he stays out of trouble, okay?" I answer back with an okay and hang up. Tyler shrugs and lays on my bed. I go in my bathroom to take a shower to get all of this gray dye off. After that, I dry off and see Tyler laying there watching a video on his phone. I get on the bed and take his phone. I set it down on the night stand and wrap my arms around him. I hug him close to me and say "Goodnight, my little precious Red." He pouts, but soon falls asleep. I chuckle and hug him close. My cute little Red.
