Chapter 15: You Need Me Most

I wide awake at Sunday morning. She is still beside me sleeping. After last night, we are wearing with us our outfit which at this moment, already dry because of the cold breeze air from the sea.

We went to my boss residence. Am glad that he's not around. I get her inside my bedroom as she prepared herself.

I let her wear my outfit, because she do not have any. As I checked with my requirements for our marriage. Then we went out to go to her house.

As we arrived, I checked first where can we passed through so that we could not be caught.

There at the same route I climbed lastly, I was able to enter to her room, get the documents and her outfit as well then we went out.

Then we went to the Church, in the outskirt part of the city, where no one knows about her.

Then we were able to talk to the priests and submitted our requirements. There is no wedding schedule on Sunday, so he said he can have it on Monday instead.

Then we agreed, as we prepared ourselves for one day and will make a plan afterwards.

Then we rented a house there for just a night, then we plan for an escape. As we agreed, we plan to go to the Ireland, without all of them knowing. Better that the port is just near in this outskirt part of the city.

Then we bought her a white dress and suit for our wedding. Better that I also get her money inside her drawer. I also spend with my money for her. Her money will be spend when we get to Ireland.

As we get tired with the preparation, we ended up lying in bed, when she said:

"What if we will get caught? What will happen next? I am so worried that our marriage will not push through." She said.

"Please do not worry honey, we will go to the church as early as we can." I said.

"What if he will kill you?" She said, so worried.

"No, he will not do that to us. Just think positively." I assured her then I kissed her at her forehead.

Then we slept in each other's arms.

Our wedding day has finally come.

We are so exciting while waking up.

I asked her to prepare herself first while me do the cooking.

She is at the bedroom taking a bath and do the preparation, while me at the dining area outside the house and do the cooking.

While singing, I heard a sound, from a car who do the parking. Then a slam at the car door then footsteps as hurriedly go towards where I am standing.

"Do you think I do not know what you both are doing?" A man's voice seemed familiar to me as he talked.

Then I turned back. There I saw her fiancee, holding a gun pointing towards me.

I get shocked by the gun he's holding. One press of him it will get shot on me.

I looked at him steadily, scared but to much strength, I do not let him know.

Then he talked further

"I know from the start she could not learn to love me. Here you comes into her life, then you take her from me suddenly?

"I am so envy of you. I have everything but she couldn't still love me. While you, it's just been awhile but you are able to let her love you. Then you have nothing, even money you do not have?!

"Then today is suddenly your wedding day? Too quick you let her say yes!

"What kind of love you give to her for her to love you more even a small period of time?

"Do you think I do not know what you have done with her? You kissed her for the first time, go both go to the park, you both go to your house and do that fucking thing, then another fucking thing you've done to her on the beach! How disgraced I am yet I still love her that madly. I take all of those betrayal she do because I her so much!

Then I answered him calmly.

"The money, the fame, the power, I can take all of that through my hardwork and determination, it will only take time for me to achieve it. But the kind of love like treating her so special, listening to her thoughts and emotions and loving her for who really she is, that are those things I give to her.

"I will fight for our love, no matter what. Even if I will die today. Do you think she will love you if you killed me? She will hate you for the rest of her life!

I fight back with my words.

He got a teary-eye while angrily saying

"No!!!!!! I deserve her more than you do!!!! I love her and that's what matters most. But before I will take her from you, you must be killed her first!!!!!"

Then he shoot with a gun!

The bullet is too fast I cannot hide.

Then I saw her approaching me so slowly. Then I cried while shouting as I run towards her to evade her from the bullet.

"Noooooooo!!!!!!!!!"

I was able to embrace her, but it's too late.

Her center back was shot by a bullet. Then blood gets outside her mouth. Then I lie her down.

With melancholy, I said

"I don't deserve being saved by you. I should be the one to die! I should be the one! Just let me be!" I cried hard, my tears fallen.

"No. Always remember you're such a good man who deserved to be loved. I love you too much that I am willing to offer my life for you. I deserve to die rather than going with someone I do not love.

"Please promise me that you will find me in our next life. I believe that this love of us is not yet the end. We will see each other again after a long time of waiting. I believe the time will come that our souls will meet again. But I would say goodbye for now, and please do not lose hope to follow your dreams and find another one who will love you." Tears fallen from her eyes, hardly to breathe.

Then I said

"Please don't leave me! Please! I don't know what to do without you." I said.

"Please promise me you will find me." She pleased.

"Ok. I promise I will look for you and that I will never forget you and this moment for the rest of my life, even if I will reborn for many times, I will look for you.

"I promise I will not love anyone. I will love only to you, eternally."

She nod and touch my face, saying "I love you!"

Then I respond "I love you too!" then I kissed her lips.

She then become unconscious.

I cried hard so loudly as I shouted her name.

Then I saw that man with the police, dropping his gun.

Then I madly approach him, grabbing him at his shirt near to his chest , saying

"You do not love her! Do you understand?!

"If you really love her, you rather wish to see her happy. But what you did? Even to her last moment, you're still too selfish to let her do what makes her happy!

"You don't deserve for her! I deserve more for her!

"And don't forget that I tell you this, that I will become as rich and famous as you someday, but with a good attitude. Unlike you selfish man!"

Then I throw his face with my fist!
