Sorry I'm going to run this day into the next chapter, this might become a frequent thing sorry. 💕

"So Mrs. Beckett you ankle isn't too bad, just don't put to much pressure on it as you walk. I would recommend no running."

"Well I'm a cop its kinda my job."

"Your ankle should feel better before Monday, just take it slow for a few days. It should wear off."

Castle stood from his position on the doctors swirly chair, he held a welcoming hand to Beckett to help her off the examining table.

"Thank you Dr. Smith."

"Take care of her Mr. Beckett."

Kate nearly choked on the air in her thought, but quickly regained her breath to correct the doctor.

"Oh we are not together."

The doctor looked almost stunned.

"I could've sworn you too where married."

Beckett answered back with a sly

"No"

Castle on the other hand, slapped a smirk on his lips and whispered

"Not yet."

The detective shot him a look, before the chuckling doctor exited the room.

The duo made there way to the car, Kate doing as the doctor ordered. Limping. Castle had offered to help but she quickly shot his offer down.

"Why won't you just let me help you?"

"Because I'm a grown woman and I can care for my self."

Castle sighed and unlocked his car before climbing into the the drivers seat.

"Where to now?"

"Can you take me to my apartment?"

"No way, what if you fall you could really hurt yourself and no one will be able to help you. unless that doctor of yours came back from Africa."

Kate sighed and turned her attention to the writer currently primping up his hair. Such a girl.

"He won't be back for another month, and I will be fine castle. If I need help I can call Lanie."

"Why can't you stay at my loft at least until tonight."

"Because as I said before I'm a grown woman and I don't want to burden you guys with me hanging around."

"That's bull, your always welcome in my loft Kate."

"Thank you castle, but I just really need to go to my apartment."

The ruggedly handsome writer surrendered to the power of the detective.

"Okay, but first promise me if you need help you'll call me."

She smiled lightly and ducked her head in attempt to hide the blush creeping onto her cheeks.

"Okay. I promise."

The smirk that grew on castles face was mesmerizing, and kate loved every bit of it.
